QFT and /Agree :( I do not want loads of crit rating, Just the hit rating would of been ok with me....

    Q u o t e:
    Update: 06.30 6:15 PM PDT

Here are a couple of additional changes coming in 3.2 that are not yet in the PTR patch notes:

Using engineering bombs should no longer remove a druid from any druid form.

Engineers will now be able to switch between Gnomish Engineering and Goblin Engineering for a fee.

about time, hoping this level of attention continues so we can have a nicely rounded profession ^_^
also hoping that it doesn't take most of the next expansion before we are brought into line with other professions again as it has here

things that would be nice to have looked at:

the various think-tank threads, there is a lot that for obvious reasons cant be implemented, but still some good ideas personal favourites :

  • holographic projector - mirror image without the damage, the clones do random things, or may turn you into a tree etc

anti-gravity boots that let you jump like the jumpbot

    invisibility cloak tinker

  • reduce cooldown on parachute cloak/ buff duration, i know its meant to be timed so you use it just before impact but given the amount of cliffs and other steep terrain changes in northrend, it can be problematic to time correctly (also wtb a spectral griffon in every zone am tired of dieing on cliffs and being unable to access my body)

given the amount of engineering abilities that are available to other players through rep items and for free, will engineers get new and unique things to distinguish the profession?

the ability ro remove the curse of flesh but only use attacks based off engineering items would be good updates to pets trinkets and the like would be very nice,

do the dragonlings need to be trinkets given they give no stats at all, perhaps implement scaling stamina similar to the way heirloom items work based off eng skill or lvl...

can we have the chopper looked at, cause atm its just a very expensive mount and given it shares the same price as the tundra mammoth can it not share the same functionality ie repair/ vendor or even gain something new and unique? also please stop with the mounts they don't make up for neglecting the rest of the profession

more things sell able to non engineers would be good ie nitro boosts are banned in arena, i don't arena, but wouldn't a better solution have been to make them boe and not require engineering so engineers can sell them to any player who wants them, i don't see why classes that lack escape tools should have to do without if they choose to pick them up over other enchants

    edit: added more stuff

Yay! Been waiting for something like this for a while.

    BUT WAIT!

Any progress on getting some new high-end schematic drops or rep items? There's still a distinct lack of items which you would readily use an item slot for. (Epic goggles spring to mind, tier sets have made these redundant. I never even use the trinkets unless it's for a bit of a larf).

Still, good news all round though.

The ability to change from Gnomish/Goblin without releveling is just like... :D :D :D

We've got a piglet, he lives on our farm! A perfect little piglet, the bestest in the barn!

+hit is quite useless to healers.

Each and every class and spec benefits from crit (some more than others of course).

If losing +12 hit puts you under the hit cap, I suggest you regem instead of trying to get an item changed to suit your current gear...

    These changes are very welcome.
    Thank you.

My wishes for the future :
    * Avoid gimping most aspects of a profession because one or two items are a must-have in arena. Don't let a profession slip so far behind like engi did in the last months.
    * Keep engineering spirit alive. Don't give up on weird items that bring no advantage whatsoever in PVE or in PVP and which sole purpose is to have fun.

Great idea, that will work well with a pvp helmet.

Simple: Library Technicians in Storm Peaks - reasonable droprate.
Easy (fairly): XT or Mimiron all modes
    Medium: XT or Mimiron Heroic-only
    Hard: XT or Mimiron Hardmode-Only
    Annoying: Flumbub Gearwind or Dirkee.

Yes since i raiding is not my thing and i will never see the inside of ulduar a decent droprate from other robots all over northend would be cool. Otherwise i will be screwed. What you suggest here sounds reasonable to me

Let there be light and there i was

    My two wishes would be:

    Gnomish Hyper-Cooling Unit
32 slot refridgerator, to keep the meat and fish fresh (so a "cooking bag") and it should be BoE so it can be sold on the AH. ^^

    Bomber
Flying passenger mount. Needs Engineer to fly but he can carry two passengers with him.

    Q u o t e:

  • Engineers can now learn to create a portable Wormhole Generator for Northrend. The Wormhole allows them to travel to different locations in Northrend, although the locations are sometimes in dangerous places.

  • A new repair bot has been added, and his name is Jeeves. He is the ultimate gentleman robot butler, able to perform all the mundane tasks of repairing, selling and buying junk for your entire raid. Additionally, he can open bank boxes for skilled engineers (350+). Jeeves is not destroyed when used, but due to pressing engagements, can only be summoned once an hour. The schematic for this handsome robot was said to be hidden within the parts of another robot – hoping to be found by an engineer one day.

  • A Steam-Powered Auctioneer has been added to the Dalaran Like Clockwork engineering shop, allowing access to one's faction Auction House. The Steam-Powered Auctioneer was programmed with a superiority chip, and will only interact with Grand Master engineers.

  • o.0 are you kiddin' me? o.0

I've waited for so long and whined so much that i dunno what to say....
Engen is finally back to the "unique place" it deserve, funny and usefull stuff instead of just passive stats.
Thx for everything, great changes imho... all of them.

Can't wait for the Mole Machine to came out, are there any hints about the location it will reaches?

PS may i have an Eject System to shoot people off my chopper?

Please make Gnomish Army knife disenchantable? Feels bad to vendor them for 22s... or make them sell to vendor for 3 or 4g? Thats a small change which could make alot of leveling engineers happy :)

What i think Eng. lacks the most now is any form of advance in pve, i rly hope u'll give us some new heads next patch that contains best in game items for each class, just as u did when sunwell was added to the game. Since atm it's doubtless the worst pve profession.

    lol

Even now, engi is a decent pve profession for most classes. The glove armor enchant is roughly equivalent to 50 stamina extra for tanks, and the hyperspeed accelerators+bombs gives good pve damage boost depending on class. It's not the best for everyone, but it's not the worst for everyone either.

    I never left.

    Suggestion:

Reduce cooldown on all ex-trinkets for teleportation and new wormhole generator from 4 hrs to 2 hrs.

It seems for me very reasonable suggestion as cooldown on Hearthstone was reduced to 30 minutes.

It's still will be 4 times difference between HS and transporter devices.

    Thank you!

It would be great to make injectors able to create large versions of other potions. Wild Magic, haste pots etc. Those are used just as if not more frequently than health/mana pots.
