Hello I remember when WOTLK was announced, there was going to be new emotes! but nothing new were implemented, whatever happened to that?

Lots of those are in-game at the moment. Myself and a friend went on an emote spree in Dalaran the other day and many of those came up in our experiments.
I couldn't tell you which are and which aren't available for use at the moment, but I've definitely dished out my fair share /facepalm emotes to name but one.

Good question. Tough one to answer. On the whole we all tend to keep work and play entirely separate. It makes for a much more relaxing experience.
