Agreed, the new arena change is horrible, seems like the game is going from bad to worse every patch... good thing Aion Online is soming out in Sep :< I love WoW but even my patience has been bound to run out sometime, and looks like this new patch will do it.

I'm not a paladins / dks / druids / rogeu but i still hate it.

Just because they fail in making 3v3 more populair they just totally screw 2v2 up and FORCE you to do 3v3 because in the end only gear/rewards matters, and about balance in this game it's unbalanced in 1v1 - 6.5million vs 6.5million and they fail at it since day 1.

What's making you to play 2v2 if you don't like it? Nothing.

We all know that having a reward system is one of the things that makes arenas fun.
Heck,I find Ahn'Qiraji extremelly fun to do,but when there's nothing I can get from it,it's not that interesting as it used to be.

3.2 Killing the Arena Casual Players.

All I hear when I read blue posts is that, they dont wan't to harm the casuals but in this case they're killing them. Alot of people find it much harder to organize 3v3 and 5v5 than 2v2, and of course this is obvious, and alot wont bother trying to find one more to do 3v3, and they rather quit instead.

If this change goes live, alot of players will quit since there is no incentive to do 2v2 anymore. Players from other bracket will go play 2v2 with their superior gear, how is this balance?

I also read at many posts that Blizzard are balancing the game around 3v3/5v5 already, why is people now concerned that they will balance more around 3v3 when they already do that? (with this change)

All brackets got their FOTM combos etc, It is not balanced, and will never be perfectly balanced. it is a fact.

I have a suggestion to make 3v3,5v5 more wanted to play. Simple, Increase the gear rating requirement for 2v2, and decrease 5v5 rating requirement for gear.

So for example, in 2v2 tier 1 weapon would be 1900 rating, 1850 in 3v3, and 1800 in 5v5, for an example. This change would make people play 3v3/5v5 more if that is what you want to accomplish.

But killing off the incentive to do 2v2 is not the way to go. I've been through since the beta of the game, and this is by far the most idiot change ever made if it goes live, WoW has become more casual over its expansion etc, and this change is not making the game more casual, but rather more "hardcore".

I hope the change get reverted, or else I will save 13 euros every month or spend it on some other game. I have no idea where the game is heading if this change goes live.

Most of our games last atleast 2-3 min, hell.. we even had a 7 min match against cleave once O.o

The 2v2 bracket is still here, you can still get titles, just not the gear, now seriously this season has already been going for like 6 weeks, dont most people alrready have the gear they need for this season?

Besides its not like if your good at 2v2 you will just auto fail in 3s and 5s.

Yes i understand your annoyed but this seems alittle over the top.
