I've opened tons, and made the Lich King quite a lot of cake.
Still no drake unfortunately. I do have enough pets to start a Zoo.
I've been opening eggs since... well, december.

Got the drake first egg, a touch ironic since I actually wanted one of the pets and didn't care about the mount that much - I still started using it as soon as it dropped though, was a nice surprise!

Month and a half on my Hunter that is now a farming alt=Got it.
3 months on my Death Knight= Given up.
Not even one egg on my Shaman. Screw that lol.

I have been opening eggs since as soon as I could buy them. That was shortly after WotLK was released. Still no joy.

I think i got it quite fast; no more than 7-8 eggs.

Was a funny story tho, we got Immortal in Naxxramas for the first time, so after that i went to do the white polar bear daily quest. Maybe i was lucky from suddenly being Immortal, but i got my white polar bear. When i was learning it i noticed my egg had cracked; so i opened it and got a green proto drake.

Immortal makes you lucky! ;)

Illumination is NOT mana regen
Illumination is a mana reduction talent like Tree of Life (it is just a lot worse)

I stoped buying them after i got all mini pets :P i'm not collecting mounts, but pets are my weakness :D 92 atm and can't wait for 3.2 and enew pets! i hope Blizz going to add 100 pet achiev......

I think I was pretty lucky. I got the Proto-drake Whelp on my first egg, a Cobra on my second and the Green Proto-drake Mount on my third.

Strangely enough, I didn't have much luck with tickbirds. I never did get a white one.

I've been exalted since closely after the WotLK start, and been opening a new egg every week. Still don't have a dragon. =( It's like that stupid Mr. Lobster all over again.
