Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the questions you've submitted. Though Shaman and then Mage are first in the queue for being posted, Warlock should hopefully be next after that.

not that it wouldnt be cool but i think lots of people are over enthoustic about this then XD ! it sounded like a legendairy skill ( not to mention what about the this is our salvation against melee text )

Most of the questions I'd want to ask appear to have been covered so far, so I'll ask something a little different.

Q. When will the models for the original Warlock minions (Imp, Voidwalker, Succubus, Felhunter and to a lesser extent the Doomguard and Infernal) get an update? I know they are of much less significance than the Druid form models, but it is depressing seeing all those great looking demons from TBC and ours still look... well... 'fugly'

Q. What is going to be done about the Voidwalker? As a pet seemingly designed to 'tank' for us he barely performs this task whilst leveling let alone when at the cap, even as Demonology!

Q. Why is Warlock utility, derived from pets, so reliant on having chosen the right pet before the battle even begun? You state you don't like the idea of a game being over once you see who is on the other team, but unless you pick the right pet for the job we are generally left up a creek without a paddle.

Q. Why is Shadowflame a skill I never want to use? It only finds use, for myself, when killing low level Shoveltusks where it would be a waste of time/mana to use RoF. It feels redundant in the face of other AoE skills.

Q. Why are skills such as Challenging Howl and Shadow Cleave attached to Metamorphosis? Neither add anything of significant value to either PVE or PVP play. Are there not more useful skills that could take their place?

Q. You've previously stated that you did not want Metamorphosis just to be yet another 'form' that players shifted into and never shifted out. Is there no feasibility for making the skill something more unique and exciting? Whilst it certainly isn't a form we just shift into, it is little more fun than a 'super trinket' in PVE.

1. Affliction Warlocks have a LOT of dependence on the shadow school, are there any ideas or potential changes going round Blizz dev team that could helpl alleviate this. (Things such as a silence reduction talent or instant haunt).

Pets, What is Blizzard's general direction with Warlock pets, are they meant to be a "pick one which is your favourite" or more of a "pick different pets for different situations", and if the latter is true- how is Blizzard's view on a Warlock's ability to switch pets. Are there any plans to improve this?

3. To what extent are Warlocks meant to "tank" melee?

2] Could the cooldown of Soulshatter be reduced or make our spells cause less threat.

3] I hear Blizzard talking about changing the Shard system. Is there any detailed information about this into what direction? Or at least if it's a good or a bad change for us locks? - Cause the maximum amount of shards of 32 is imho not a good change to say the least.

Are you thinking of making something with WARLOCK AGGRO?? i mean, our MT is a druid and we use to get a warr OT to put vigilance on me, but i still cant dps as hard as i can on every mob/boss, im always in the need of stop dpsing. There is some posts that note this, but i repeat, WE HAVE THE WORST AGGRO MANAGEMENT OF ALL CLASSES:

Talents: -10% aggro on Destructive Reach (destro) and Improved Drain Soul (affli)
Spell: -50% aggro with a CD of 5 mins

I know the difference between hybrids and pure dpsers and why we cant use the same talents/spells, but other classes had 30% aggro reduction, full aggro resets with even less CD, or two spells usable to dump aggro like mages... plz we need some love here

Teh worst is on Hodir, where all dpsers go from ligh beam to another when i spend the half of the combat out of light beams to dont overaggro MT with a dps spike.

Plz more aggro reduction on talents or improve soulshatter, but plz MAKE SOMETHING WITH OUR AGGRO

And dont come anyone to say the fkking "get better tanks", we have awesome tanks, and only warlocks overaggro them because of our problems, even undergeared ones

we ask for escape mecanisms and you pump up our dmg just to nerf it back

Are you satisfied with the significance (or the lack) of our curses in pvp?
* curse of weakness, has it any use high level?imo it's not balanced with the kind of melee burst a lock faces.
if you have a 10% melee less damage, that sounds fantastic and almost op, but what's it's use if someone bursts for more then 10 000 in a couple of seconds. it's not saving my life, not for 2 seconds, not for 10 seconds, and the reduction is not significant for it's goal= higher survivability.
* imo curse of agony lasts 18 sec, and does very low damage for that amount of time. it used to be 40% from someone's health, corruption does more.
* curse of exhaustion: yes, instant, no cooldown, but every melee class we need to apply it to, has too many and too easy ways to counter it
* tongues: our enemy has too many channeled and instant spells to be a real pain, it doesn't feel like a significant curse. how about every time you use a school of magic, that school is locked for 2 seconds.

are we a damage mitigation class, an escape class (à la mage) or a self outhealing class in pvp?
* it seems like we are a combination of those but don't shine in any of them. too few mitigation to work and too few escapes to get away. And the heals only account for our lifetapping.

Do you think affliction has enough cc with all the fear nerfs in pvp and pve?

Do you think our pets are strong enough?

Is there a chance to get siphon life back?


Can we get an update on some of our graphics? immolate? make it look like living bomb? haunt, the flying thing looks not good. agony?

I just have one small request and that is that either the succubus seduction or the invisibility spell is taken off the global cooldown. As it is now if i'm attacked by someone while mounted and need to do a fast seduce, i first have to wait for the GCD from invisibility to end which generally cause a great loss off health before i get of the seduce.

2 simple changes that can make warlocks fine :

-Demon armor : -50% réduction to all physical effects (stuns/snare...) (Like mage Vs casters)

-make pets nearly unkillable, OR allow us to switch / rez them like the Death knigth... (30 sec instant cast)
