In the next major content patch we will be removing the prismatic quality of the jewelcrafter-only Dragon’s Eye gems. Like other gems, they will have to match the socket color to receive a socket bonus. When this change occurs, players with qualifying jewelcrafting skill will be provided a yet to be determined amount of Dalaran Jewelecrafter Tokens as compensation.

If your plan is to nerf all the professions slowly cause THE IMPACT IN ARENA IS SO BIG( LOL) you better just remove: A) the arena system B) all the professions.
P.s.= i find it funny that you are announcing that now,maybe you noticed a lot of players dropped engineering instantly in the moment you announced the rocket boots change? Scared, aren't we?

what's the point of this? Jewelcrafting will nerf itself when the Epic gems are out making the prismatic gems a worse upgrade, u just made JC useless and everyone will reroll to a better profession.

I am assuming it means they also won't count towards the meta requirements, combining this with socket bonus loss is quite a large devaluation of the profession.
Wth are you doing? I havn't seen something this stupid in a long time. You do realize that jewel crafting will be giving tanks a total of _33_ stamina increase when you implement this stupid nonsense? With the gems being prismatic you actually get a benefit close to 50 stamina like most professions, providing you have some nice socket bonuses in your gear available with yellow gems required for instance. Now, with epic gems being introduced, you're buffing blacksmithing to a 60 stamina increase for tanks, and nerfing JC to a 33 stamina increase. What the hell are you guys thinking? This nerf belong five seconds after the release of WotLK with a buff following when epic gems where introcued, not at this point. I really hope you change your mind about this stupidity.
If you increase the stats on the JC gems, sure. But unless you do that, it's going to be a massive failure and JC will be a bank alt profession to make money, and everyone will have to reroll.
good change to make it more equal to other professions but it will still be the best since it has such a wide selection of what you want to improve in stats
