I still use my old spec but I did glyph of snd and garrote away to take fan of knives and killing spree.
That's what I changed since Secrets of ulduar.

old is new new is old but old is new ( you still get it)?

noob instances are the new black
easy epics are the new gray

Incredibly good tip.

Furthermore, I specced into Murder for Ulduar and changed SnD and Garrote Glyphs for Mutilate and HfB. With all the class changes and those talent and glyphs, I push out roughly 1k-1.1k more DPS than pre-3.1. Though, this far we've only gotten to XT-002, since we're a casual guild. I did 3.3k DPS on that fight, in 10-man. Not too shabby I think.

Feint also halves the damage you take from Auriaya's Sonic Blast.

Feint just rocks full stop in Ulduar, Use it wisely, time it right and you'll save your healers mana and most of the time your life.

A dead rogue = 0 dps, choose feint for your next GCD if it keeps you alive for longer.

Can be used on Ignis as well, Kologarn when in trouble though not really needed there.

The Drunks - their voices on vent are getting just ever so slightly slurred. DPS output seems to scale positively with blood alcohol content.

You can use Killing Spree @ Ignis to free yourself when he grabs you.
Think you can use CloS also but it only mitigates the damage and doesn't free you.

When attacjubg Kologarn's arm, stand at the opposite side of the arm you are nuking, while facing Kolo's body. This will save you a headache when the arm falls. (IE: you are nuking Kolo's right arm, stand facing his left side).

Actually the hitbox of the arms are on top of the body ;p you can stand in the middle and face his body while targetting right arm. That way you won't have to move at all when switching between arm(s)* and body. And melee's aren't as bunched up as they would be if all were standing at right arm. Makes it easier to detect who beam is targetting.

*Some guilds prefer killing left arm aswell to reduce raid damage.

Well we don't stand in the middle, else there is the risk the Eye-Beams will hit tanks also.
Standing facing his kidneys is better, and you can attack both arms even if you are facing the opposite direction :-)

You can disarm the Dark Rune Champion's during the Thorim encounter to make the Whirlwind do 50% less damage and to stop them from applying MS.

General tip for p1 - 2 success on Mimimimimimimimimi ..err mimiron.

P1 - /Console CameraDistanceMaxFactor 4 (allows you to zoom out further than usual, making spotting safe exit paths through mines a lot easier)

P2 - Dont forget to zoom right back in to make sure you can see the stupidly camouflaged Rocket Rune markers.

Eyebeams won't target anyone in melee range. The best place for you to be is standing with the tanks, facing the torso, and switching targets to the arm when necessary.
