0. PTR - Read Me 04/05/2009 07:54:07 PDT

Setting up the PTR:

To access the test realms:

1. From the downloads section, download the current patch downloader file to your hard disk.
2. Move or copy the downloaded file into your World of Warcraft folder and delete any previous WoWtest folder.
3. Execute the file and patiently wait for the download to complete.
4. If the patching process does not start automatically, execute the patch file manually and wait patiently for the patching process to complete.
5. Close your Launcher
6. Execute the file wow.exe located in your WoWtest folder and login
7. Select the test realm to use and start testing the game.

Could you use screen shots please i think it would help loads of people out as im still trying to get it worken as i havnt have a clue what you are really saying cus some of the points you have said i havnt come across :)

Hi! I just cant see any servers at all. When i log on my account and gonna choose a server they just arent there. Please help me with this!

How come i cant logg on PTR servers there's no server at all , Could anyone help me ???

So many idiotic posts now, seeing as 3.1.2 is now on "LIVE" there is no! PTR so ofc you wont be able to get onto the PTR as there is nothing to test at this moment check back every so often to see when the next test will be up, a good hint is when this forum gets wiped.

World of Warcraft could not be found. Please make sure the game is properly installed.

this is the error i get but it is properly instaled since i'm able to play on the normal realms

Possibly because there are no patches in the testing phase currently...?
