Welcome to the Warlock information portal! Within this thread you will find a collection of useful links, guides and informational references for the Warlock class.

If you have any guides or links you know to be of use for the Warlocks of the world, be sure to let us know in this thread so we can include it in the list!

Our aim is to keep this as a catalogue of information for the most up to date version of World of Warcraft, and we will do all we can to ensure the links included remain as fresh as possible. Be sure to let us know here, or by reporting it for ‘Sticky Request’ using the Biohazard symbol on the post in question, if a thread could be used in our collection of guides or if a link is no longer suitable for the current game version.

I have just written a guide to the Meta/Ruin demonology spec.

It is a narrated youtube video explaining glyphs, talents, macros, ui mods and spell rotations (standard and decimate). It's my first video guide so be gentle :).

Its currently only for this spec in raid mode if people find it atall useful I am experimenting with raiding affliction and currently ranking up in arena as destro.

Warlocomotif's guide has been updated for 3.2

Every time you write "destro rotation" an imp dies.
Renaming your demon makes as much sense as a priest renaming you just because he has mind control.

Eeeee, I made a support questionnaire! ^^ Come on, don't tell me you haven't cynically wished for it at some point. I'm sure we can shorten it, but I'm in a silly mood today. And yeah, it can use improvements. I just figured this is what I ask people every time they say they have issues with their dps. Occasionally, they have to check back and provide more info and it takes longer.

"My PVE dps sucks, what do I do?"

Checklist:

Use one of the links provided to answer the following questions:

Destruction builds: http://elitistjerks.com/f80/t38033-mage_equivalent_destruction_warlock/

Demonology builds: http://elitistjerks.com/f80/t37474-demonology_thread/

Please define your dps in numbers and provide a few example fights. Not all bosses are equal.

Please make sure all the spells on your bars are set to their maximum rank.

Are you hitcapped? y/n. If no, why is this?

On the flip side, are you currently a great deal over your hit cap? y/n. If yes, why is this?

Are you using a standard spec, only differing in non-essential points? y/n. If no, why is this?

Are you using appropriate glyphs for your spec? y/n. If no, why is this?

Are you gemming appropriately, and is your metagem activated? y/n. If no, why is this?

Are you using the best enchants available to you to enhance your gear? y/n. If no, why is this?

What spells are you using, and what priority do you put on them?

What pet are you using? If imp, do you make sure it gets raid buffs when available? What abilities do you have enabled on autocast?

What consumables are you using?
