Welcome to the Paladin information portal! Within this thread you will find a collection of useful links, guides and informational references for the Paladin class.

If you have any guides or links you know to be of use for the Paladin of the world, be sure to let us know in this thread so we can include it in the list!

Our aim is to keep this as a catalogue of information for the most up to date version of World of Warcraft, and we will do all we can to ensure the links included remain as fresh as possible. Be sure to let us know here, or by reporting it for ‘Sticky Request’ using the Biohazard symbol on the post in question, if a thread could be used in our collection of guides or if a link is no longer suitable for the current game version.

Can a Blue prove that my link isn't a keylogging site....

I want to share my knowledge about PvP with Retribution but people are too scared to click my link..

so if you can add my link to your Topic or prove that they are wrong at Retri Pvp Guide(Can i get a Blue to approve!) so they can go read my Guide while not being scared of keylogging...

people live in fear nowadays....

Why not put the content from the guide (that isn't a keylogger) into a forum post, so we can add it to the collection of guides at the top?

I'm protection/holy paladin and i used to use healbot addon for healing. But - shame - i found it very usefull for tanking since there's a lot of spells are casted on player. Those are Righteous Defense, Hand of Salvation, Hand of Protection if needed and other hands. So i just binded those skills on mouse buttons. I wonder if there's a special palatanking addon that helps to do the same thing?

Don't know about a specific addon for it, but I use Clique to bind spells to a modifer + mouseclick while mouseover the target.

For examplt can set Shift+Left Mouse for Righteous defence.

I know Clique is very lightweight and very simple to use.

It adds an extra tab to your spell book, you simply open that then look through your spell book and perform the action ie Shift+left click whilst hoving over Righteous defence to bind it. and then use it in your reg party / raid frames as a mouse-over cast.

Found this link to some nice Best-In-Slot raiding gear for a Holy Paladin raiding Ulduar. I personally don't think it's the very best list, but it's close enough :)

To be honest, i'm kinda new to the whole WOW thing and i guess i should look into it before i start playing it but it's too late for that now really. I'm level 35 (Blood elf, paladin) and i wondered what way is best to level, i get alot of boosts off my guild members but it's not really getting my defence and sword skill up. I'm aiming to be a tank but i need the easiest(quickest) way of leveling up. I'm getting pretty bored of quests and i don't know where to go for the best quests of my level.
Sorry about the length of this :D

You just have to push on and keep levelling as best you can. There is down points and up points in the road from level 1-80. In terms of your sword skill and defence you'll only gain 5 defence skill and 5 sword skill per level. If you need to get extra defence skill then you need to do this by getting defence raiting on your gear, but to be honest there's really not much until level 50+

Best bet is to simply grab all the plate you can with Str and Sta. Push on through questing perhaps it's worth downloading a levelling guide addon. around 35 I'd persoanlly be in Stranglethorn vale doing all the quests there, after that Tanaris. Other than that give my guide on Protection a read linked just above your post it'll set you up with a lot of the info you need for 70-80. For levelling it might be useful to try a retribution spec, Imho there's a lot less downtime and you kill mobs a lot faster.

I am retri and i lvl up pretty quckly...last time i played i had a day off so i played for about 8 hours.I leveld up 2 lvls, with the seal of command.though i had a bit of luck (did 10 group quests and DTK).anyway, it can get quite boring...i had two or three breaks from playing wow at lvls 10-20 and 30-40.so this is kinda the hard part....in hellfire was the same for me, but then lvls started flying up to 68,then i went to northrend and leveld up altogether 9 lvls in yust under 24h playtime
