Q u o t e:
How did I miss what? I don't get it?
And yes, I did use ~40% armor mitigation into account, because that was the one used by kalagan judging by his average rage/hit on live
With this profile
http://ctprofiles.net/4225116
and the formula
RPH=1.25*WEAPONSPEED+DMG/LVL
RPS = 1.25 + DPS/LVL
we have this overpowered warrior doing an average hit of
(654/14 + 20.3) *3.6 = 241 dmg against a 0% mitigation target.
Kalgan was smart enough to make it even worse by adding the "standar" armor value that according to him it is 40% mitigation. ( notice how he doesn't specify what "standar" armor is )
So against a 40% mitigation opponent this dude will make an avg hit of 241 x 0.6 = 145 dmg
So we insert the data on the formula and we get
1.25 x 3.6 + 145/60 = 6.91 PER HIT WITH THE RAGE NORMALISATION.
In other words kalgan confirmed what most warriors know since one month now. The new rage formula.
The post quoted at the OP, totally pawns kalgan that intentionally forgot
a) to add the battle shout from that poor warrior
b) to include any amount of %crit that this poor warrior would have.
c) to consider that most of this warriors target are not going to have 40% mitigation....
Generally the OP is perfectly correct. Read the post and feel free to make questions if you want.
In other words if you GENERATE more than 2.5 rage/second currently ( 75 dps at lvl 60), you will be nerfed coming TBC
If you generate less than 2.5 rage/second currently ( i don't think i have met anyone who does less than 75dps .....) your rage generation will be weakened.
