TNT now refreshes the trap duration.

So new cycle would contain:

Hunters Mark
Shoot Immo Trap
Keep Serpent Sting up
Use Black Arrow every cooldown (maybe time with trinkets)
Use ES each cooldown.
Multishot each cooldown.
Kill Shot if possible.
And we can weave in some Steady Shots between.

Did I forget anything?

Also, I really really don't like the 'new' pet talents at all!
I was expecting something that said: "We had given some serious thoughts on pets and came out with this awesome ability."

And now it is really lame..

well cant say i didnt see it comming. no way in hell blizzard will EVER let hunters be viable in PvP for more then a short while. the wining idiots win. hunters lose. again.

Fixed a bug that occasionally caused hunters to win arena matches.

So serpent/wyrn sting will both stack with black arrow seing as it doesn't have the word "sting" on the end of it o.O?

Looks nice for PvE... but what about PvP? Anyone thought about that?
They are adding another ability to a shared CD timer which already is filled to the limit imo...

I don't know, it might be good... discuss please! ^^

Simple, just do it like you do with volley. Should be piece of cake as volley actually fires a lot of arrows instead of one...

I don't think the T.N.T. immo refreshing made it to the PTR. I think GC was hinting at this being removed because they want hunters to focus on LnL procs in PvE coming from BA.

One thing that everyone seems to have missed is the tooltip for LnL. And I'm not talking about the trap change and replacing Serpent Sting with BA. Currently on live it mentions that the talent has a 30 second cooldown. The tooltip on the PTR does not mention this. Does this mean that the internal cooldown on LnL has been removed

Afterall, it was serpent sting that made the cooldown acceptable, considering you could keep it up 100% of a fight and on multiple targets.

anything that lowers traps cd works on black arrow as well this includs talents and pvp set
u can now use kill shot in melee range(!!!!!!)
cant think on anything else

tho on side note any hunter who enjoyed the 130% passangers mammoth mounts its now a normal mount :(

Bit silly it going to the MM tree. Resourcefulness talent reduces the CD of Black Arrow? Does it also lower the mana cost?

yes to both from 302 mana to 120 mana and from 30 secs to 24 secs

Hmm, if Expl shot dont refresh Immo trap with TNT, then it might be hard to proc LnL in PvE, since Proc from Serpent Sting removed, proc chanche lowered (and bosses are immune to freezing and frost traps), Black arrow has a CD (that shared with Traps atm), and if BA does not share CD with traps, its still hard to keep up immo trap as trap launcher has an even higher cd and its hard to place traps in a real bossfight especialy if ulduar will have more complex boss encounters.

Im getting the feeling, that 3.1 hunter changes were made by different developers that have different ideas about whet should a surv hunter do in 3.1 and not consulting with each other.

Looks like BA is the answer to trap dancing- frost and freezing won't work on bosses per se, will likely still proc off wandering adds and such though.

However consider this, if trap launcher has been removed along side the explosive shot refreshing immo dots then BA will be a more attractive form of lock and load procs on boss fights. Granted it's less likely for a proc to occure due to the CD but the same goes for immo trap. Both abilities will effect bosses however as it stands- take immo refresh from explosive and the shared CD from Black arrow and traps and blizz have removed trap dancing.

I'm quite pleased by the idea in a way. if the inclusion of trap launcher and immo refresh were to go ahead - what is stopping ppl glyphing immo and pumping 3 pts into a tier 2 talent? It would be ridiculous.

having Black arrow and immo tick for the same amount of time shouldnt seem like a coincidence when viewed in this light.

Bravo blizz, you've made a very attractive SV 41 pt talent and a tthe same time addressed the concerns you might have had with trap dancing without destroying a great talent in the form of Lock and load.

L and L will still be great. explosive shot didn't recieve any direct damage decrease. ( indirect crit reduction aside). The crit can be regained some what by taking 3/3 hunting party and the 4% crit glyph. granted not a full 9% but its a good compromise i reckon. consider T.n.T is now increasing the dmg by 6% at 3/3 coupled with the glyph i don't feel cheated.

Looks good so far - cant wait for character copy to stop pending and start reading succesful.

I think BA will give PvP a whole new experience to the hunter as he/she will have to pick either to do a bit more dmg or CC another target. And if ES will refresh Immo-traps the hunter can pick to first use a immo-trap, keep the debuff up, then use either BA on target to nuke or Freezing trap on healer.

The whole idea can be good, but I'm not sure if they aren't overdoing it as it's starting to be a lot of abilities on one shared CD...

Black Arrow is indeed on the same cooldown timer as traps. We designed Black Arrow to be a hunter's ability to proc things normally caused by traps (like LnL) in PvE situations where using a trap is either a pain or the target is immune.

We had many posts on Eclipse matter and the fact that its dependable of 3 RNG factors :( no official answer was given till now ...

As far as i've see on PTR notes , all hybrids (especially SP) got a dps boost , now boomkins will be last in DPS :(
