True, cba to edit it though, means going through a lot of trouble which I've already spent on writing this reply.

I don't see why the same people should.
The TBC beta invites were given out at random it seemed.

There will be contests and such to get an invite like last time, no doubt.

Mine wasn't given at random though, but I have no contact anymore with the guy that gave it to me. And it'd be kinda strange to suddenly start talking to him again around the time of WOTLK beta.
If he still works for Blizzard that is.

i thought of saying that and chose not to, but now youve done it ill QFT for sure. ofc helps if blizz fix bugs but yeah a lot of "testing" was done that didnt really test anything did it, the kiddies just got to play sooner. but theres no way of knowing how people will test..unless blizz were to get rid of non testing testers (imagine the QQ)

True, same with the PTR, some features are tested, and most not. People want to try out another class and do some pvp here and there. And maybe sometimes you have a group of players that actually really test the new features. :)

Well, its quite possible to be honest, Blizzard has done more work with Nihilum.... but I don't know if they will do this though, kinda spoils the competition for world firsts (though I think Nihilum has 90% of world firsts of SSC/TK/BT/Hyjal...

If the fact someone has completed the instance already takes all the fun out of it for you, you might want to consider a good online racing game. That would seem more in line with these kind of statements.

I find this quite offensive really. I was in Beta for Burning Crusade, I reported lots of bugs, gave lots of feedback - and I'm definitely not a kid. I know that I, and most of the other players I came in contact with during the Beta took it quite seriously. What Blizzard chose to do/ were able to do about the things the testers reported is not something the players can control. So please, do not blame the testers for doing a bad job.

As for the original subject, I also hope to get a beta key this time around. I met some really nice players from other servers, and I wouldn't mind meeting them again - and of course, I'd also like to be able to help out again... and in all honesty, I'm also really eager to see the new content.
