As a matter of fact I hope they cancel it. They idea of speccing is that you make choices. You cannot be the best violin player and be the best soccer player too.

Now a lot of players want to respec often, because they want to play different roles and at the same time excel in those.

Why not lower the respec costs to a max of 20 gold and a decrease with 5 gold each month back to 1 gold.

Players that don't want/like to respec, don't need to. Nothing changes for them.

Players that want to change between best specs based on their role benefit, because the costs are lower.

Players that want to respec for fun, try out build and experiment, a group that is left out with dual spec, benefit too.

Blizzard benefits, since they don't have to develop and implement a new game mechanic.

Sorry, but no.
I'm one of the guild tanks, but I'm also one of the guild healers when we lack a certain class.
My tasks are either tanking, Tank/DPS, pure DPS or Healing. I've had close to 20 respecs since hitting 80, and I'm sure you can figure out the cost of that at 50 gold per respec.


Also, I will be taking Tanking and Healing as my specs. Maybe, when we have enough healers, I will change it to Tanking and DPS.

Most likely ...

Main spec: Balance PvE for raids (when I finally hit 80)
Alt spec: Resto PvE for if we're short of a healer now and again

Ultimately I'd like to go the suggestion I saw upstream: Balance PvE without IFF for raids with a shadow priest, and Balance PvE with IFF for raids without one. But for now I'm happy to have tree as my offspec so I can help out while the guild is still levelling - myself included there, ofc.

Gotcha! CM plays a healing class and therefor favours healing!!

On a more serious note, 2 out of 4 healing class can tank aswell, why not tanking instead of healing? This is to everyone, as it seems most choose dps+healing.

Right now im not sure. Generally I would have tank & dps spec but i'm really thinking about having two tank specs. One for 5-mans and one for raiding.

For the 5man spec I would have i.revenge, disarm etc talented for example. Some talents are really nice in 5-mans but not (working) needed in raids. Also would prolly use different glyphs in 5-mans vs raids.

Pala: Ret / Prot
DK: Blood DPS and Unholy tank, or maybe Unholy DPS and Frost Tank. Dunno which I should pick.
