Many quest mobs drop an item that you have to bring back to the questgiver. It can be a head, a possesion, or something else that proves that the deed is done.
If your character was a quest mob, what would he/she drop?
---
Valynna for instance, would drop her battle horn. It's a family heirloom that stayed with her in death.

Piano Wire for quiet kills, some silver, a couple of poison vials and a couple of daggers.
"Some people will only learn to become contributing members of society through my complex system of random acts of cruelty and dagger-related violence. Also, it makes me giggle."

A grimoire.
This book seems to glow with faint greenish light. Upon flicking through it you find illustrated descriptions of various demons, spells and rituals. You decide that this book might be valuable to somebody and take it with you

Signet of the Holy Light
This silver trinket was for some reason burnt into the Paladin's skin at the location where his heart must have been. The name 'Fesenram Aldernav Lightsoul' is inscribed with tiny letters on the back of it, and it's still warm.

Ashling would drop some nacre prayer beads, Noreun a big diamond ring, Pod an arclight spanner and Trip would most likely drop some scraps of dirty leather.
Conclusion: Ganking Noreun would be most profitable.

A Silver Necklace
An old Thalassian piece of expensive jewelry, made out of silver and richly adorned with jewelry. However, right next to the sapphire star on the necklace there hangs a primitive animal tooth that seems completely out of the picture with the rest of the necklace.
''Of love to love, a bond of eternity, that only death may wither.''
Is written in Thalassian on the back of the necklace.

Let's see...
Bazul the dwarven priest will leave his much appraized fishing hat (I know it's dump but I'm walking with this thing EVERYWHERE).
Liijak the troll would lose one of his tusks.

Pendant of the Diviners
This Item Starts a Quest.
' A strong aura of magic resonates from the centre of the necklace - a navy sapphire embedded in the casing. This neckpiece needed some force to pry from the young Elf's neck, and glows a sinister ebony as you stare into the heart of the jewel. Maybe someone in Silvermoon would be interested in this magnificant piece of high elven jewellery. '
'The Sunreaper'
Quest Item
' A blade of frighteningly cold steel, the second you lay hands on the runeblade a sense of insecurity falls around. The hilt is made of pure Saronite, and you feel as if the wielder was driven minsane by the whisperings of the corrupted metal. Runes litter the length of the blade, glowing in manners of scarlets, violets and cyan. '

I think my character would drop a whole "Careless Thief" set (epic out ofc), a couple of bloody daggers and some fingers that don't belong to him...he'll also drop 1000 condensed mana remnants...
Then he'll respawn every hour with people going "OMG wth does he not just DIE!" and soon they start farming my for all that I'm worth...
...Until they look exactly like me and are hopelessly addicted to magic, huzzah!
