Hey,

There appears to be no cooking recipes for Borean Man O' War in-game. Is this intended?

Thanks

Hello Moonbless,

Our chefs will need to undergo years of training in order to be able to cook the correct parts of this creature and even then cooking it into other foods may be dangerous!

Seriously though you are more than welcome to suggest culinary delights you would like to see this fish in on our Suggestions forum here http://forums.wow-europe.com/board.html?sid=1&forumId=10024

Kindest Regards

Well, there might be a recepie for the jellyfish in the future, who knows?

Because there is a sucker born every second. I've successfully sold "Peeling the onion" on AH a few times on one of my alts on a PvE-server (it's a book you can get for free, it describes how to play AV).

Also, once a sucker has bitten, there are people using tools (just information tools, nothing that's cheating) which will tend to suggest that such items *have* a value, and so there will be trade in 'em, thus prolonging the myth. This actually illustrates why those information tools *aren't* cheating: used badly, they lose you money on worthless rubbish given value by the decisions of imbeciles or the errors of the ignorant.

There are at least 4 cooking recipe missing on live realms. recipe for Man O'War may be fifth. WoTLK was released with professions not even half-done.

Spirit plate is a solid form of Infinite Dust. Don't be deceived by its armor-like shape.

I think it would be cool if it was a quest recipe instigated at lvl 450 fishing from the kalu'ak (after all they are the master fishers, and eat alot of it) maybe a sushi of some kind would be very rewarding to get something of that nature for cooking, after all you had to do fishing quests to get a boss in zg, and lvl your fishing in order to do the lurker in ssc, why not cooking or first aid aswell.

*edit for spelling*

Aye, I use auctioneer for example. Between them doing away with it's 'classic' interface and the release of WoTLK turning the economy upside down (no-one wants to buy lvl 68 Blues and purples any more), it stopped being so easy to use.

And THEN, then, some muppet comes along and spends a few days trying to sell a stack of white items for 4-figure sums and totally throws my scan figures out of whack. *mutter*

Seriously, I have bags full of blue items, I'm at the point now of practically giving them away.

It was the same for lvl 55+ "old Azeroth" items, everyone had better from Outlands, however... I found teaming up with a (dis)enchanter is profitable here. Everyone is in Outlands -> no one farms old content -> there is low supply of mats for levelling enchanters in this range. Soon the same might apply to all those prismatic shards and planar essences.

Also lvl 19 & 29 twinks used lvl 60 enchants and lvl 39+ twinks used lvl 70 enchants. They needed mats.

Aye, I saw it coming and just just didn't manage to shift as much stock as I hoped to before WotLK hit; I figure I'll either DE them, or store them for a few months until people have had their fill of new content, and gone back to leveling alts with gold in their pockets.

Just gonna concentrate on building up a stock of 'new' stuff to trade that *will* shift in the meantime.

If there really is no use whatsoever for this item, then we actually have a bug on our hands, because items of no real use are usually grey.
White items on the other hand should have a use, however minor that is.

(I didn't read the whole thread, so I'm sorry if this has already been pointed out.)

You can feed them to pets; the point of the thread was that there was no cooking use for them.
