I take it your pretty new to the game ;) ?

When BC came, it was luck if you could play for the first few days. Server lag and so on will be a !!#*# ones again ;) trust me

Dunno on what server you played on, but on the server i played the opening of Outland went extremely smooth. The only place which was overcrowded was the dark portal, for the obvious reasons, but that didn't affect outland nor any other part of azeroth then. I know for a fact that it went smooth for 2 other servers as well.

Lag wasn't too bad for me either, but I soon got fed up with being in a crowd of thousands all trying to do the same quests. Luckly TBC had two new races so I started one of them instead and explored the new starting areas. Don't know what I'll do this time....

Same for Zenedar, even at the dark portal I suffered no noticeable lag.

We'll be fine.

I enjoyed when TBC was launched. Right before you could enter the portal the portal was dominated by either alliance or horde depending on who just killed those standing up there.

if it is like TBC, then u'll be able to play before the sun is up - and yeah... if u get it that late at night u r gonna have a stable northrend bcs most people will either wait for the post the next day or wait for shops to open during the day.

be prepared to get ganked in hellfire though if u r a DK... those waiting for their xpac to arrive are going to want to pass the time somehow.

I truly hope its like TBC atleast :) Ill get mine at the midnight opening so!

Same, I've contacted and reserved 4 different shops and copies, respectively, to a sure I'll get at least one ;>

The others I'll be passing on to some friends who can't afford it right now.

I pre ordered it soit will be delivered to my nans house and my mom or dad will fetch it for me soi dont need to go to london to collect it :D.

Preordered 2 CE's at 2 different shops, reserved 1 at another just incase. Preordered 2 SE's at 2 different shops hoping i'm gonna get one of em on the 12th. If i'm not gonna get a copy on the 12th, i'm going to one of 2 shops where i've reserved a SE for midnight sale.

as soon as you can upgrade your acc to wotlk you can enter northrend,,, atleast was with tbc... and after initial few hours rush it crashed and was down till next day mid day... so ye i predict same/worse scenario

I'm not even approaching Northend on day 1 . I'll stick around either azeroth or outlands until things settle down a bit .

And you should be able to level past lvl 70 in outlands as well.

Agreed, I'm staying well away from NR for a few days at least, I expect it's world server to be going down every few minutes.
