What? The oldest form of roleplay. That of telling a story. In this regular event, members of the Horde gather around the bonfire outside Cairne's tent in Thunder Bluff, to share tales, stories, anecdotes, parables, and fables. Each attendee has a chance to tell their own, and are encouraged to applaud their fellow storytellers.
When? Every Friday and Saturday Night, at 20:00!
Contact! Just turn up on the night! This is a community-run event, and no one is a main leader of proceedings.
The Tauren's hands were caked in blood. Blood of an animal that had been the most worthy of prey. Kodo were bulky creatures, and their skin was thick, a natural armour that shielded from the slices and shots that the hunters would aim at them. But this one had eventually been brought down by a determined group of young Tauren, and now this Elder reaped the rewards.
One could tell the totem was freshly made because it had a smooth surface and no marks hindered its bark. The wet blood met the hard wood as, with his bear hands tipped by delicate fingers, the old Tauren drew.
He drew swords wielded by the warriors. He drew guns aimed by the hunters. He drew runes that were favoured by the mages and warlocks of the Horde. It was all painted in the red colour of blood. Because that was a very important part of stories, and this, this totem, celebrated the return of them.
Cairne valued them, too. He would listen from the shelter of his own tent, to the tales, anecdotes and prophesies of the brave souls that stood in front of their peers to speak. Every Friday night, at 20:00, would stories be shared.

The events are community-run, in that no one actually organizes or takes hold of them. It's common courtesy not to act as if your character, or your character's guild, takes precedence, as that cheapens what is meant to be a totally freeform event. We occasionally have first speakers, who would call on new acts, although this changes every week.
Hope to see you there!))

Oh, just as a note. If anyone has any queries about the event, send "Gremkarc" a whisper, on Horde. :)

((I've edited the main post, to say that Saturday Nights are now Storytelling Nights too, as we had a few people wanting to attend, but not having the time to do so on Fridays.))
