I am one of the lucky people to have a spectral tiger mount atm. Blizzard showed some imo, amazing pictures of the mount on their front page and at that time I just knew I had to get one!
But tbh, I feel a litlle disappointed, owning the mount now for 2 days. The in game gfx aren't even close to what blizzard showed on their front page. And I think it's not as good looking as it could have been.
Q u o t e: wich one is the real one and wich one is the one Blizzard showed?
I like the bottom one more.
The one with black armour is the current one. But in-game it looks a bit weird in certain places. It seems it will look better with more of a homogeneous colour to it.

Is it linked to the rumoured small core graphic engine updates slowly being rolled out leading to the expansion and its changes?
If people do not know rumour is during coming patches small changes to the game are being done to improve model apperence, performance etc in terms of the core of the game and then what ever is announced in terms of this graphics bum up with the next expansion
It looks as if it might be a "smooth shading" display problem (Thunderfury and some Winged creatures have similar display issues on certain graphics cards, when Smooth Shading is enabled).
Try disabling smooth shading if you have it on, then do a restart :)
Basically it looks as if the "black" spectral tiger is only displaying the "undercoat" & shiny bits of the textures in the picture above.
