what difference will it make? When will someone in 1600 learn that its not going to matter if they have full brutal and weapon, they will continue to do everything wrong and stay at the same rating. Infact some of them are only there because they've idled for 3 seasons at 1500 and now outgear 1500 people enough. Getting your shoulders after the point where they are relevant is pointless.

Q u o t e: Since all you "true pvprs" just play for fun and high rating/title, not the gear AMIRITE?
It was the raiders crying that made them make rating req. not because the top pvpers wanted it, dont think the pvpers care one way or the other, a bad pvper will be a bad pvper no matter what weapon he got.

Its not supposed to make them play any better or worse, i just see no good reason for the reuirements to be there, Its just pointless epeen flexing.
The fact that you know that you are "better" then others by having higher rating should be enough. Limiting what gear people can get is just stupid.

Yet i see mostly the "pvp players" going around flexing epeen over shoulders/weapons etc. The rating requirement just made it worse.

Q u o t e: It'll only matter to the people that play for e-peen.
High rated players will still be high rated and bads will still be bad
Exactly! The people who do good in arena would not suffer since they know they are good.
It would work for "scrubs" and casuals like myself. I dont even do arena now on my chars cause i dont have friends who want to do serious arena nor do i like it.
I dont think it would really hurt all you top arena teams if us randoms would get the weapons etc.

rating requirements idd are pointless
give gear to a noob , he will still be a noob
skill>gear so i cant see why ANY pvper should actually whine about such thing
personally i was going for 2k+ in s3 just to get gear for bg's /world pvp /etc since i hate arena ~~

Because a baddie with a s4 weapon(melee) still hits !!*#ing hard? I'm also sure no matter how **#! you are most ppl will know where the basic buttons are...ms, hamstring, whirlwind etc. hemo, kidney, kick etc.

If you remove rating req. for all PvP gear then Blizzard will become similar to a private server where all newbies with 2.000 lifetime kills will run around with top gear and nobody will bother to do quests or instances anymore, they will just farm points instead.

Think about heroic badges
Think about RAF system
Think again what you have just said

We currently have no plans to remove the rating requirements from season 4 gear after the release of WotLK.
