So why can't you do what your doing to those 4 realms to the entire Ruin battlegroup?

Obviously these servers had a high majority of Russian speaking players who migrated to RU servers. The small remaining player base is so small, way smaller than any other low populated server you know.

What you will likely see is that these previously "Russian" servers will have free transfers to the low populated servers you mention.

Finally some info on this... great news Blizz, better then I excpected. :) Also great move with closing down and then reopening (thought I expect, since all 4 are PVP, we will see at least 2 returning as PVE possibly RP/RP-PVP?) for launch of WotLK, fresh start for new (and some old) players is always great and fair.

So those realms that will be closed, what will happen to them?
Will they be used later one, as new realms are needed? Or will they simply be "scrapped"?

PS, I feel kinda sorry for those people who stayed on those realms, they are now forced to split up.
PPS, wich realms are gonna be used to transfered too? I really wonder that.

A friend of mine paid and transfered his character 2 warsong, will he be able 2 transfer again even though he has 2 months left berfore he can transfer that character again?

Dear Blizzard, give us (players from this 4 realms) one common realm to transfer, so the rest of russian players from this realms can gather at one.

While you people here are rejoicing at having 4 servers for beta, none of you understand what is going on for those who preferred to stay at mentioned 4 servers.

At Russian-language forum a multi-page thread did not receive any attention of blue posters except the first note on closing. Well, yea, lots of Russians who were occupying those so-called "russianized" realms did moved to ru-wow. Nevertheless, there are still people who dislike what they've been given as localization (won't dwell upon this now). There are still people who prefer using english language client while playing, but still like doing it playing with their friends. There are people who prefer english-l. client but won't feel free and relaxed at random EU server due to limited knowledge of english.

So what's gonna happen soon? Those Russians who didn't buy the idea of ru-wow are now forced to leave mentioned servers. Blizz do not give any chance for those who still stay there to unite at one of those servers. Yea, sure, what if there's a threat of another bear-occupation. OK, if we're not given the chance to take the remaining russian-speaking players and move to one of servers in question, then why Blizz are trying to scatter us all around the game world? Even more, we're not given a possibility to choose for ourselves where to go. When a realm is forcefully closed, isn't it just normal thing to give person a chance to choose for himself? But NO - each of realms in question will get 2 random omfg realms where they will be forced to move (Note - if player was unaware of it - he will be transferred without him even knowing it to who knows where).

I honestly consider this a sign of disrespect towards your customers. As if I lived for quite a while in my house paying rent and then one day a person comes and tells me - look, all your neighbors moved 100 kms from here, and we think we gonna build a road here, so just take your stuff and move to where we show you. Oh you wanna choose where to go? Noway.

There's still some time till that forced transfer is gonna happen. Why don't you think it over again? Reputation is hard to gain and easy to lose.

If you want to play WoW in English, good for you! But then why does it matter whether or not you're on a realm with other Russian players? There are lots of other English-speaking players out there, from countries OTHER than Russia, for you to play with.

If, on the other hand, you wish to exclusively be grouped with Russian players, play on the Russian realms, that's what they're there for.

What you appear to be asking for is a realm where you can use the English language client and receive English customer service, but still group yourself up into a little exclusive community with only other Russians. That's nonsensical, and unfair to the English-speaking players. You've already got both of the options that you need: Russian communities (on the Russian realms), or international communities (on the standard English realms).
