Given it's September 1st I suppose can we now assume none are expected till mid August 2009 ?

Well I've been checking it several times a day since the end of july, and that message has been up since july/august transition as far as I remmember. I suspect that it has been neglected by whoever is in charge of updating the information.

That's all reasonably, but not updating the estimate is ENTIRELY their fault.

If they don't know the estimated arrival how can they post it ?

then they should at least remove the text saying they expected a shipment in mid august when its past the date. Its basic marketing, not rocket science

i'm still baffled that Blizzard can't handle preorder on those so that people don't need to spam the authenticator webpage and this forums.....

I suspect its the usual "cheaper is better, cheapest is best" deal. I dont even want to know where the authenticators are made and by whom in what conditions.

At least there's now one Blue that can be praised for taking the amazing initiative to at least try get an update ...
