Hi.. if you take a look at my armory, what do I need to change and improve so that I can start doing karazhan? im guessing that I need to improve a whole lot of stuff, especially AP, so it would be awsome if you could just give me some pointers! No need to yell "OMG ROFL get better gearz!!!11!!1!1!!!!" like some pricks in AV do.. lol xD

Ello.

The 3/5 Pvp starting gear is not good tbh, get something to replace very soon.. And you know Professions are handy, level your skinning/lw to 375, be elementalist get primalstrike set :D cost some alot but worth to improve with.. Boost ur ap huge, but its just advice m8..

Put Agg/Mongoose on your weps, i know a good and easy starting shoulders for you, Mag'har (Nagrand) Quartermaster sells Blue Shoulders (Revered) very helpful until u get new ones.. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29147 (Put shoulder enchants on it)..

Assassin legs are great atm, if you are Scyer you can get good pants there, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29131 (+40ap & +crit rating)

Ok now, get your hit rating to 150 & 1500 ap than u will be able to do good dps for early kara, while there your gear is going to get better, depends on your raid balance group, it was pain for me to have druid/rogue dps, they ninjaed everything lol..

Well :] just advices m8, it takes time to get geared ^^, and be the best..

I wouldn't take you into Kara right now. There are 10 very easy things you can do though to fix it.

1. Level your leatherworking and grind your Consortium rep to revered, or ask another leatherworker to craft you the Fel Skin set (boots, trousers and gloves). Fill it up with Glinting Noble Topaz and enchant it.

2. Grind your CE rep to revered at least and get the Warden's Hauberk and the Glyph of Ferocity from their vendor. Gem the chest with Glinting Noble Topaz and enchant it.

3. Core of Ar'kelos is a simple quest reward from Netherstorm that is superior to your Bladefist's Breadth. Keep the Terokkar Tablet for the hit rating.

4. Natasha's Choker is a quest reward from BEM which is slightly superior to Earthen Mark of Razing.

5. Grind Mag'har rep until you can buy Talbuk Hide Spaulders from their quartermaster.

6. Spymistress's Wristguards are a simple quest reward, use these (gem with Glinting Noble Topaz).

7. As you are Scryer you can do a Netherstorm quest chain which rewards Socrethar's Girdle, probably the best blue belt in the game.

8. Enchant all your stuff. Get at least Scryers honoured rep so you can get the shoulder enchant. Use Cobrahide Leg Armor on your legs if you're poor, Nethercobra if you're rich. Enchant your swords with Mongoose if you can, or Greater Agility or Major Striking otherwise.

9. Get Slayer's Mark of the Redemption from a Netherstorm quest chain. Do the Kara attunement for the Master's Key, this opens up a VE quest chain which rewards a series of Violet Signets, use these.

10. Respec out of your PvP spec into a raiding spec. Combat swords seems sensible given that you have decent enough swords.

Like above, get enchants, gems rep rewards etc, save badges and check wowhead as to how and where the next easy upgrade is...also its not required but maybe spec combat swords for the kara run? better hit and offhand dps with blade flurry and adrenalin rush can help lots.. still a good place to start now would be to run heroics, start with the easy ones like slave pens, blood furnace etc etc.

The better you gear the more invites you get for kara gruul mag the more gear you earn.

For easy starters you can solo the dungeonquest for the Spymistress's Wristguards. Its quite easy.

Aslong as the guild your in isnt a group of pricks, aim for approx 160 ish hit rating and you'll be fine, try to not use PVP gear mate. Heres a list of quick items Id recomend going for, check my armory if you wanna copy some..

Midnight legs - SP last boss heroic
Traitors Noose - SP first boss heroic (i got both in first ever run,u may be like that, may not,it happened for another rogue friend of mine so.. you never know)
Ramparts - 2nd,Last boss, i dont know the name but Boots from 2nd, Chest from 3rd, Are VERY good ,I used these and eventually replaced with kara moroes dropped Edgewalker boots ,And I luckly got the Dextriously gloves from attumen in the same run, So maybe try getting taken to kara for the first 2 bosses at least,im sure your guild wouldnt mind if it'll help you alot.

Also... you may not want to but, I dearly reccomend tbh get the belt ive got, u need 2 nether vortex ad 10 shadow primals ,And a few other mats which cost nothing so you can get a well nice belt for about 300/400g if you buy the vortexs and farm the primals :)

Weapon wise.. you should get S2 fist, dagger,or sword depending on what you wanna use, Atm i am sword combat spec poppin trinkets and slice n dice and rupture whenever I can I allways score in top of the dps charts. I dunno about other spec's, Im going to be trying hemo fists soon I hear its just as good if not better, may wanna take that into account! If you look at my armory, ull notice i dont have both s2 weps, fact for this is because Im not throwing away a mongoosed wep just for a bit more AP, not throwing the gold away :P

PS. Dont worry bout gear to much ,if your new to kara you'll think its hard, once you get into it ,its really a piece of piss its over hyped, so dun worry bout it.

ive got some better gear now though I don't think im still god for karazhan, what do you think?
Im gonna try get my HP to 8000 at least and AP t0 1400 with the Merciless Gladiators War edge. Then i'll probably farm CE rep so i can get the Glyph of ferocity.

As far as I can see, you would just need a bit more AP and you'd be at some fine starter stats for Karazhan. But heck, if you and the rest of your Kara team know what you are doing, you'd only be a respec away from being ready. I would change spec to Combat swords, since Shadowstep is pretty crappy DPS compared to full combat.

Something along the lines of
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0ebovZMIV0bVzxMGkt

And, as most of the poster here have said, there is plenty of sites around which can help you find some gear to replace your PvP epics (PvP gear frankly sucks in PvE except for the weapons).

And the most important part, always keep working on improving yourself and your gear. It's never cool having a slacker along on a raid who just comes to grab epics all the while not doing anything between the runs. There are plenty of Heroic Instance drops and Badge Rewards to work for, and loads of gold to farm for blue/epic gems and enchating materials for your epic gear :)
