Looking forward to D3 for sure.
I remember playing the demo of Diablo back in the day. The coolest thing was that the levels were partially random generated and the loot was infinite. Not even mentioning the crisp graphics and stunning sound.
In between D1 and D2 I was a huge fan of Darkstone. D2 had several elements from Darkstone that were not present in D1. Then Microsoft created Dungeon Siege that had sweet 3D graphics but not quite the same "feel" as D2 had.
Looking at the D3 trailers, I'm sure it will be the most thrilling gaming experience in a very long time. Also, because the Diablo-genre appeals to an enormous amount of people (everyone can play it) I'm sure we'll see new records in online gamers. I don't think the 10 million subscribers currently in WoW will be the peak. I trust D3 will go way past 10 million worldwide. And I know I'll be one of them ;-)
Of course that doesn't mean I'll stop playing WoW. I'll stop my WoW subscription the day World of Starcraft is released. Or Elite 4 (oops, did I say that?).

Q u o t e: I loved Diablo2LoD, so i deffinatly going to buy D3 no matter how it becomes.
Will D3 be released before 2010?
I hope it does :) perhaps the 28th of June 2009?
But we know how Blizzard is; they will only be shipping a game when it's perfect! they're not using deadlines or whatsoever, it's all about discipline and dedication of the dev-team.

the game looks pretty well designed already in the preview, maybe it'll go to beta sooner than we think.
