Hello Folks...

I've have now browsed the forums for some time, being fairly quiet, and just sucking the information to me :)

I found that thread very usefull and informative, still it's based on Restoration Spec. Like the healer thread, I am hoping to help out some lost souls trying to gear up their Elemental Shaman by listing fairly easy quest's/runs/faction items, where you don't require a 10-man/25-man raid to obtain decent gear
So hoping this will be a sticky to help Newcommers as well as "Old School" Shamans :)

Thats very nice and deserves a sticky!

I would maybe mention the heroic drops such as stormsong kilt or the shoulders from Slavepens.

Think there are bracers and belt which are +spell and mp5 as well. Not ideal maybe but ok items.

I added some weapons and shield/offhand category's too. Didn't add Staff's as i don't see any staffs worth using so far, that would compensate for MH/Shield. (Yes, i am a armor-addict :) )

However if you see/know any staff's worth mentioning, then feel free to post it and i'll update as soon as i get time :)

No, I did not, since when I rolled my Shaman at launch it was advertised as an OFFENSIVE HYBRID not a totem popper locked into full resto spec.

You could add Hurricane Boots to the list, as the recipe is BoE and can be bought from the Auction House

Shame on you for bad research. I personally feel very much as an offensive hybrid. In my guild we utilize both offspecs and there's no way in hell anyone would ever force us to go restoration. The casters and rogues love us. Stop spreading bull@@%* because you yourself are not allowed to play offensive spec.

Shamans are great damage dealers, and a great supportive class on that. I for one prefer seeing my entire group high on damage, than flexing my e-peen myself on top of the damage meters.

Whiners. Gotta hate 'em

World drop, usually 30G on AH. Even though it lacks spellcrit or spelldmg, these provide great stats and above all, great mp5. Use these until you get TF shoulders or better.

Netherwing defender's shield http://www.thottbot.com/i31491 is pretty easy to get if you have a group and more stamina than some of the other blue's.

Also perhap's list all of the GM set not just some pieces.It's all good,even if a little lacking in spell dmg.
