hey all im not on forums that much normaly i visit wow insider so if this has been covered sorry.

i was in arith basin today and had the misfortune to run up against a shaman that was multi boxing with a key cloner he had two identical shamans walking side by side doing identical things and they destroyed me lol all the time

anyway after that little rant my reason for posting is do you feel this should be allowed i personaly feel it gives way to much of an advantage so should be stopped

a games master has already told me that this is a legal action and that he could do nothing about it.

apprecait any thoughts consctructive ones atleast lol ;)

You answered your own question. Its legal, they're not gonna do anything. Read the other dozen topics about this. It sucks, as do so much other things. Live with it.

Only read the title.. But as long as it requires your input ( Aka pressing keys on one char / comp ) It's legal.
Confirmed by blizzard themselves i heard.

Edit : Now i read the post.. It does give advantages, but nothing major, as you can still team up with someone else and take him/her down.

One player controlling two accounts isn't much different than two players controlling two accounts.

If you get owned by 5 shamans controlled by 1 character, then you can rest assured that you would be just as owned by 5 shamans controlled by 5 characters; so the distinction between how many people are pressing the shamans buttons isn't really significant. At the end of the day, "owned" is "owned".

Nope. Blizzard's opinion > your opinion, and Blizzard's opinion is that multiboxing is not cheating.

i personaly hope blizzard will ban the use of multiboxing sometime soon

PS: That they pay for several accounts is irrelevant since it has nothing to do with what people are annoyed at.

This is an educated estimate. From the people I met on my server. Roughly 1000 people like multiboxing, in any form.

about 100 insist I am hacking and cheating.

If you browse to just about any class forum, the posts are usually 99% made out of whines, about what people think annoying.

If blizzard would change things, just because a few find it annoying, then something wrong is happening. :p

Multiboxing isn't cheating, it's in no way advantagous.

Btw, 5 individuals in arena are better than 5 mages that are multiboxed. So dont come with that argument.

You can't expect to take down multiple characters just because they're from the same player.

Because, and it might come as a shock to you, it's fun? Challenging? Different from leveling your upteenth solo character?

whatever is profit for Blizzard, is allowed by Blizzard, if not encouraged

Multiboxing is awesome..
..and yet I'm not doing it.. I might someday, though..

I am neither for nor against multi-boxing, but I can't help thinking it doesn't really follow the spirit of a MMORPG where you get to be your character. From what I've read about it, you need a lot of time on your hands to want to attempt it.

Leveling 4-5 multi-boxed characters takes much longer than leveling just one character. Just think of all those drop quests...

well my 4 are lvl 43 at 6 day played by doing instances so the diffrence isnt that much.
