Is it in any way possible to downgrade my account to a non-tbc account?
Disabling my level 70 characters ofcourse...
I don't like to sell my account and buy a new one as it's against the EULA. :P

There is no way to downgrade an account from having TBC. If you really desire a pre-tbc account, you could -instead of selling your current account as it violates the EULA-, either a) buy an additional account and have both, or b) cancel your current account and use only the new one.

Update 07/04: in some cases it is possible to remove a TBC upgrade from an account. However, as these would be very specific cases, you'd have to contact our Billing department to check whether it's possible. Uninstall the lot and put back WoW only.

The trick is I do not know if you will be able to play having some char already 70.

He means downgrading so that you won't be able to level past 60. And no, it's not possible.

If you do not re-install BC, can you keep levelup past 60?

If you have upgraded account, you cannot play on vanilla WoW installation. Their level does not matter - you can have no character at all on TBC account and you will still be unable to log on installation without TBC.

No. If you try and log in to an account that has ever been played with TBC on you get a message that you can't log into this account without installing TBC.

It won't let you log in without installing it if you had already upgraded in the past

The basic wow (max 60) is in stores for a price what is the same as 1 month playtime. You get a months play with an copy ...

Other question to the Blue guy,

I'm now playing on a Pre-tbc account. Not downgraded or something. Now i was wondering. Is it possible to downgrade just one character? as Pre-tbc/Pre-Wotlk.
Because Blizzard is so much focused on the expansions that you almost can't miss them if you want to keep playing. So that i had 1/2 Pre-tbc characters and 1 Pre-wotlk and the rest of my characters as Normal Wotlk. (I'm playing WoW since 3 months after the release of Tbc - And i still had to figure the game out that time. So i missed a lot of Classic WoW/ TBC. And i've never played WOTLK yet. And i really would like to try it all. Could it be possible? I'm not looking for a refund of the expansions. I just want to have fun.
