This thread is for both old and new warlock players, and is meant for given tips and tricks to each other, so give whatever advice/tip/tricks you got stored to your warlock community, and let our skills rise even more :)
Ill start with a common one:
Your healthstone spell only allow you to carry 1 healthstone with the same rank, however this doesnt prevent you from using a lower rank healthstone spell, and this leaves you with 2 healthstones, the max ranked healthstone and the lower ranked healthstone: There will still be a CD, but still good to have :)
This is good for pvp and pve.

When using Fear as CC in Pve, CoR Rank 1 will break it if the Feared mob is running towards adds. Rank 1 is used to not give the mob too much AP, but it will still break the fear effect.
Always buff yourself and your PvP mates with Unending Breath and Detect Invisibility - Not because you never know when water elementals might send a giant tidal wave your way (though that was why many of our AQ raids featured Unending Breath... So what if it's a desert dungeon, those elementals are insidious I tell you!) but because a fair few of the dispells available in the game targets random buffs.
Having a mage spellsteal unending breath is a *lot* nicer than having him spellsteal sac void bubble.
When pvping, always have some distance between you and your pet (use ctrl+3 to make it stand stil, while you move awayl)
It will make it harder for other players to attack your pet, and make sure AoE effects doesn't hit it. (getting your pet feared can easily be the difference between winning and loosing.)
Also if you're using the felguard, it will allow it to intercept anyone who gets into melee.
in an AV skirmish (then SH GY is taken) its wise to get on a hill and SoC a few enemies and blow it all up with a shadowfury. resulting in huge AoE damage for the allys (few KBs) and the ones alive are low health and healers panic. most of the times gives your team an advantage to advance them abit and take the GY,.
not much of a trink but many locks use wands while they can instead use spellstone witch gives extra ~1% crit and a full debuff remover on a 3 min cooldown(saves your ass many times vs DOTers)

Not precise. It does not 'break' the effect, it merely renders it useless as long as the curse is still on. The fear debuff WILL remain on the mob, and if you overwrite the curse of recklessness with another curse while fear is still on the mob he WILL start running again. This gets me to this tip: Fear+CoR+CoWhatever to overwrite it is a great way to kite mobs safely, while you can still DPS with DoTs.
In battlegrounds, Create single healthstones and give them to loads of ppl from different server.. If they wont use it untill the game is over you will get back all ur healthstone so you can have many of the same size in youre inventory
