0. Gladiator and Nether Drake (22/06) 21/06/2007 02:40:18 PDT
To recap the issue: after the maintenance, patch release, and end of season 1, it became apparent that not all teams that were intended to receive their Gladiator title and Armoured Nether Drake did in fact receive them. Instead the rewards seemed to be sent to some teams while others only received lower ranking titles.
At this time it only appears to have affected select realms. Since then we’ve been able to determine that the issue was specifically an error in rewarding teams appropriately. We’re currently in the process of testing a fix, using data recorded from when the realms were brought down for maintenance to determine if this fix will correct the issue.
We're waiting for the fix to be tested before discussing how the issue will be resolved as we simply don't know what the best available course of action we can take is until we have a working solution.
We’ll be providing further updates in this thread as we’re able.
Edit: Since it's apparently not clear that we are looking into all issues regarding the nether drake I'll clarify it here: we are investigating if there are to few or too many nether drakes sent out.

Whereas we have no specific information to share at this moment, a solution has been found to try and resolve this issue as well and fairly as possible. We’re discussing some final points and expect to provide you with some information later today.

Im happy for a response but still. For 4 months now i have worked hard to get a high rank and i have been looking forward to yesterday so much. Finally i would get the one reward that pve'ers might just actually envy me, while i have been drewling on their BT weapons for a few weeks now. So i log on mount up and fly over to the scryer bank where i see 5 other ppl on their netherdrakes... Armored netherdrake.... and ppl i have never heard of/seen before. One of them had 1874 rating and got his drake. Thanks blizz, once again u let me down...
Ps. Wonna delete my post because its none constructiv critics? Its feedback blizz, call it whine in self defence but some1 should come forth soon and apologize the poor work the pvp team (or whatever) has done.
oh sounds like a good news, couse i become really sad ... then i notice that our diligence in 2v2 2304 rating was for nothing.... i mean we could stop in 2000 rating and have same drake and same title
and i got a m8 with 2517 rating in 2v2 they are 1st in our battlegroup, first thing he said was "WHAT THE F**K" after he didnt speak at all

Wasn't just the gladiator title. All the arena titles got messed up. I know people with 1300 rating that got the challenger title... (while others much higher didn't get it)
Will be a rather simple solution, they will reprocess the data, will award the title to everyone who has earned it. and will make the netherdrake only equippable for people who have the gladiator title

Nice as it might be from you to actually reply, despite being 12 hours late (which is quite long for a dynamic enviroment such as the WoW community), please do refer to the actual probelm, which is experienced by the people to whom this forum is adressed - the fact too MANY and not too FEW got the gladiator end-of-season rewards. While I'm sure that the US people would be delighted to have their probelm discussed here, on EU boards, as well, I think that us, the EU customers, deserve just a little bit of consideration. This would mean that you could fix an automated message for your game masters on EU realms, regarding our problem. Would it be that hard? As far as we can see, its just 10 rows :) Cant be all that dificult.
