Current gems are useless at lvl 70 - Mana Emerald gives 1136 to 1364 mana... which at lvl 70 is negligible, barely even noticable on the mana bar.

Ive been saying this for years. Why is it locks can get a gem which gives 2000+ hp.

They can also TRADE Them gems. Us mages get a #%@@ty gem which gives enough mana to do TWO fireballs.

Also blizz ask yourself this. What do caster have more off generally. HP or Mana?

Anyway i think it should be raised to 2080 mana like the healthstone.
Tradeable to others but requiring manashards (or some equivalent) to create.

As for the OP, have to say that the current state of mana gems is pretty, well, pathetic to be frank.
Perhaps they could beef up one of the arcane talents on the T1 line so that it does <insert whatever it already does now + increases mana returned from gem by X>

Or actually give you better gems :)

Nice to see all the support from other classes on this :) We got what, a 200 mana upgrade from 60 to 70? Ever so slightly pathetic in my opinion.

Oh and if you want to make Gems tradeable then we should definitely get some sort of Soul Portal-type spell - it's enough conjuring and handing out water to the entire raid without doing Unique Gems too.

Do you want to be able to trade your gems? Yeah thats what I thought.

can you pls make a note that.. if is it possible to make a gems what will be giving warriros let's say 10rage per 1sec... and if warrior reach 100rage his rage bar should be doubled or tripled up till 500maybe...

...definetly that kind of gem will be interesting to see.. eaven if it will be just for 1week in the game lol
