ommra we knew that there would be new arena rewards, and whether or not the old stuff remained was irrelevant (as noone in their right mind would buy the lower quality gear).
What id like to know is the cost/stats of the new gear more than anything
Q u o t e: My friend took last week his gladiator blade... He is really upset if something better will come out...
This looks like fashion... if you have old cloths you wont get anywhere...
Well thats his fault for being too dumb to pay attention. Its been clear since the arena system was announced that upgraded gear would be made every season. It also doesn't have anything to do with my post.
Or maybe, JUST maybe, the old gladiator pieces will make it easier to earn enough fast to get the new set? I'm fairly certain that unless the current set has a reduced price, the new set will be more expensive, meaning even with the max 5k arena points saved up, you wouldn't be able to afford the set anyway.
Warrior: "I suck in 1v1 PvP it ain't fair"
Everybody: "It's fine you rock with a healer l2p man"
Warrior: "I found a healer I rock now, awesome!"
Everybody: "OMG NERF"
Q u o t e: Looks promising.
My bet would be that you need the season 1 / T4 equivalent part before you van upgrade.
Which would be a very reasonable cost.
who the hell would buy season 1 arena gear when season 2 gear is available?
Only thing I can think of is someone with 1 piece (or 3) who wants another piece to get set bonus. Since we don't know the stats on the new sets, it could be that 2 pieces of season 1 gear with +35 resilience bonus might be a good compromise for cost (buying 1 piece of season 1 gear versus buying 2 pieces of season 2 gear). This could apply to those at the low end of the ladder, who get little points every week. For weapons I can't think of any valid reasons.
And let's face it, it's the easiest option for Blizzard to leave the season 1 items there, I bet there would be lots of whine threads if not. :)

In pve you cant skip T4 just to go for T5.
Upgrading would be retarded, and yes, you can skip sets no problem in PvE if you have a good guild.
