Hopefully it will stay that way or get even better :)

Congratulations Sah on a great post. I read these forums almost everyday looking for interesting debates, i instantly click "forum index" when i see L and 2 next to eachother or any other attempt to combine numbers and abbreviated english to construct a post. We have to murder the texting generation =D

Truth is, i loved these forums pre tbc, nowadays i find myself in general a hell of a lot more. It would be great if the silly people went away :)

<3

i remember the good old days, back when HOTW and LOTP were first introduced and the exciting debates that rages about the viabilities of trees, innervate trainable, hurricane trainable..

then when TBC trees were released the happy theorycrafting of players eager to push their class to the limits in all trees, again, interesting debates raged.

since then its just been awful, havent bothered posting my opinion that much any more because so much of the trolling just goes to make you feel like its not worth any of your time, when i'd much more happily discuss the class with my friends on #eu-druids

i can see where this falls down though. many new druids trying to learn about the class, or people who just want simple advise may not turn here, and when looking to the forums will be completely put off, which really does suck

i would really advise any druids interested in talking about any issues / itemisation / daudlieker to head on down to #eu-druids on Quakenet (irc).

ps UNBAN MY FORUM ACCOUNT!!

Well as you must know, every time we get a new generation of druids, there will be some whining/trolling/flaming on our boards. Its been like that on all of our revamsp when the "hip kids" wanted to roll a strong class and chose druid. The forum here will settle down again, just as it has done in the past. The oldschool druid community is stronger than the newest batch of druids, we will prevail.

All this stuff about arenas and so forth will disappear and we'll go back to being the friendliest class around :>

I do not frequent the druid forum as much as I used to, and it's part because of the changes here. I do not say I am without fault for I may have contributed in a way (and I'm not blaming anyone).

Anyway, Sahrokh, good call there.

Theyre the silent ones now. The people posting in this thread are the ones asking for peace and a civil tone.

I only just started a druid, BUT, I'd like to say how much I agree with the OP. I'm one of those guys who have played since way back in Beta, and I have to say that the general behaviour of the World of Warcraft community has become worse by the years, the last 6-10 months in particular.

I see an increasing amount of people behaving like they "own" the world. Telling people off with foul language because they need to "l2p". But Seriously, you were all newbies at some time. I can still remember back in the days, when I kept destroying my items because they turned red (they were broken right? ^^)

I play MMO's for the community, for the people, it provides an aspect other games dont. I'm sure others might have other reasons to play. But even if you do play the "e-peen" version of the game, It doesnt give you the right to piss on others. Ruining the experience for others doesnt give you any respect at all. PERIOD.

If you dont have anything better to do than spam, flame people and stuff like that - then get the hell away and let people who actually enjoy playing the game have a good time.

Only thing bad about this forum is when Druids turn on eachother.

Flames and forumtrolls should be fought with ignoring, and serenity will be back.

Good Post. I totally agree with it.

As I see it, Since I started playing on my druid(November 2005) this forums had several phases:

First Phase :
We had our problems and tried to live with it, helping each others, also the time of "at the end you will be forced to became Resto".

Second Phase :
All the Senseless Whining and Give me give me give me (just before TBC)
"I want laser beams on my horns!!!"

Third Phase :
A druid killed me... The Druids are Overpowered! Nerf them!

Finally the Last Phase :
Mine is bigger than your's.

While at the first 3 phases, it was "they" against "we", now we fight Balance Vs Feral, Level 36 Newbie Vs Level 70 Epic...

Its time to change it, in the Forums and in the game. We are not just another class, we are druids, we are meant to balance things, to help each others, and help the world (of warcraft) to became a better place.

This is how I see it...

BTW, I'm only level 66, I'm covered with green Items... You better delete this post!! :-P

Be formless, Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. Water can flow or it can crash. Be Water... or a Druid

Like someone else said before, a very well written post.
I have been a druid since WoW released, and I am still playing it every day. I still love it. Though, the forums aren't what they were. Where I first (quite some time ago) could look to check new interesting topics, nowadays it indeed is a lot of flaming. There still are constructive and very usefull posts, but, for example, just take a look...and you will see about 5 or 6 posts only about Cyclone...

I'd like to quote this, since it seems to be familiar with my current feeling ;-)

This is so damn true imo :-)

Please let the forum be a place where people can discuss in a serious way, a friendly way. Please let the forum be a place without useless information. Please <3 ?

actually no it's not - h is the only consonant that requires 'an' instead of 'a' - it's just not used much

Q u o t e:
It's a subtle difference.

Was Kalgan doing what happens here, he'd reply:

"LOL STFU NOOB your gear sucks LERN2 gear up, and your rating sucks so you should not even argue about my holy truths".

Of course there's a difference, he's not Tseric. Still, more often than not, people who get "ignored" because of their arena rating protest that arena rating can't be considered when evaluating their opinion, not matter how they're told this.

Dictionary.com disagrees with you. The h in humble is pronounced, so it has "a" instead of "an".

Lock for PvE, druid for PvP.
