Some of this information is outdated, but i won't be editing anything right now, because Wotlk will be out soon. I think we will be needing a whole new levelling guide by that time.

Glad that you decided to roll a warrior. Warrior class doesn't suit everyone, because the first 40 levels are a little bit boring, you have to respec your talents often and we need very good gear, to be very good in something.
I've decided that this is a good thing, because a well geared warrior will by pass some classes in soloing for example with strong gear because all warrior's damage in mana free, warrior's have high armor and warriors can interupt spell casting. Caster classes have to balance their spell casting in order to stop themselves from using all their mana quickly while a warrior can keep on pushing forward, until bandaging. (Affiliction warlock? Yeah i know..)

RACES:

This guide has been moved. Should be in the middle of page 4.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So now we will move to the real topic. I have added useful links of about everything i considered useful. Weapons, guides, maps.. I will also mention some quests, which are good to do, and give more info on the specs and the type of gear you should be using arounf each level. And more on the gear, pick strength, stamina and agility in that order. Search AH and ask around for special hit rating increasing rings and necklaces. One hit rating slot in your gear is ok if you are arms, but it's a lot more vital if you are fury.

FIRTS TEN LEVELS:

You have choosed yoyur race and it's time to start playing your warrior. Warrior seems very powerful for the first 30 minutes, after it mobs get tougher, harder to kill. Try to finish all the quests in your starting zone before heading to another one.

Professions: http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=305821329&sid=1

First aid is a must, your warrior is nothing without this.

Blacksmithing is very expensive, pick it up now, and you will be broke to the skill cap limit which is 375. Getting there costs around 4000 gold, but mining helps.

Alchemy is the cheapest profession. This doesn't make it the worst, in fact it makes it one of the best profs for warriors. Healing potions, elixirs, oils, long duration buffs. Fantastic! Even herbalism is easy to level.

Enchanting is a big money sink, but you can dischant your old gear and sell the dropped dischant in AH for more money. Besides this prof makes up for it's expensive side on the long run. You can even enchant your own gear and make enough money for your level 40 mount, which is hard to get if you don't have a rich main character. Pure money maker's profession.

Skinning is the easiest way to make money. It doesn't function as well as it would with leatherworking, but you can skin almost every mob in the outdoor world and make so much money that you don't care.

Engineering is expensive as well. There's pretty much only one item in engineering which everyone wants at level 70 and that gogles. Engineering is still a very funky profession to take if you don't want to become an alchemist, blacksmith or jewel crafter.

Jewel crafting, why to become one when there are JC's everywhere and the market prices are down and cheap to buy for everyone?

Gear: Not much to mention for this level. Use AH to buy cheap and very good low level gear for your character. At least replace your weapon with somethign common because those are very powerful. I had my first crit which hit over 100 at level 6 thanks to my 2-handed attack power statted axe.

GET STATS IN THIS ORDER: Strenght > Stamina > Agility. Easy, simple, and fun. Most of your damage comes from auto attack so strenght is the most important stat. Don't be left on too low health either. Agility weights more with Deep arms build which i will talk a lot more soon, because your crits make your targets to bleed as well.

10-20:

Quests: Your defensive stance quest begings from the warrior trainer at once when you are level 10. You must complete it, and it's not a long quest or even hard. After this you can also do an additional weapon quest, which is also vice to complete.

Zones: Horde should quest in the Barrens, which is close to 2 capital cities and has lots of quests and recourses for every trade skill. Alliance should go to Westfall / Redridge area.

Instances: 13-17 Ragefire Chasm, in middle of the horde capital Orgrimmar, so it should be easy to find. This is also a very easy instance in general. No drops to notice really. http://www.wowhead.com/?zone=2437 17-22 Wailing Caverns: A little bit more harder instance this time, and long because without a group which works in any kind of level it's even easy to get lost or wipe. http://www.wowhead.com/?zone=718 17-22 The Deadmines: Great instance, you can't get lost, but you can wipe if you aren't carefull. You need a real tank and a real healer in here. And look at the loot! http://www.wowhead.com/?zone=1581

Talents: Depends on what is your style. 3 different types of specs i am using in this guide are: Deep arms, Dual Wied fury and 2-handed fury. With both deep arms and 2-handed fury look for yourself a fast 2-handed weapon. With DW, the weapon speed doesn't matter much, but slow main-hander is better for whirlwind for example.
For start you will use what you got. You won't learn DW until level 20, and DW isn't a very good choise before you get it improve with talents. So stick with 2-handers for now.
DEEP ARMS: (You will repsec at level 40 for Mortal strike, so more crit is better for now)
http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warrior/talents.html?320000000000000000000000500000000000000000000000000000000000000000
FURY:
http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warrior/talents.html?000000000000000000000000505000000000000000000000000000000000000000
(Unbridled wrath can proc on heroic strikes and cleaves as well, making it the best of t2)

TIP: Collect intellect gear while you are questing, because you will face sitsuations when you'll have to level your weapon skill. Intellect helps in this task, a lot. And if you have to level 2-handed mace skill for example, check AH for a faster 2-handed mace. If you have a one-handed weapon to level, use dual wield. Always spam hamstring.

20-30:

Quests: When you'll ding 20, you will get a quest, which rewards you with a shiled from the trainer, after this quest is completed you will get a chance to do another quest with a lot better reward: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=7133 That's the horde name. Alliance version is called Firehardened Hauberk or something.. So it's the same item. The cool down on that "30 rage from nowhere" is 60 minutes! Still useful in at least bosses. Try to do this quest as quickly as you can, don't be afraid to ask help for the hard parts.

Gear: Let's continue with the gear section since we got started with the quests.. I just realized, when i was searching in the internet for low level hit rating gear, that there is close to zero, hit rating gear for lower levels! If you have a chance to use hit rating gear, do so. THis is what i found, Hauberk mail chest is better though: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24348

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=3203

My beloved mace. Perfect speed and stats for a low level warrior. I used this mace from level 23 all the way to 35. It was underpowered in the end of it's duty, but there is no other 2-hander as superior as this around the level. You have to get lucky or then buy it from AH. Me? I got it free from a guild member. If you are poor..

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=7230

You might just wind up using this, which is easier to find, get and cheaper to use. Smite ( the tauren boss in The Deadmines) drops this. The speed is slow, but better than nothing right?

Arathi Basin boots. Has a different name in the horde side ofcourse. Minor speed is very important, i escaped from a ganker level 60 shaman once in these boots. (Chostwolf doesn't increase speed while swimming, but these boots do). And the only way to travel without flying is by foot anyways.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=6687

Every class wants this, even the ones who can't wield it so watch out! This is not a must, but if you are planning on staying 29 for a longer period of time, this is a great axe for you. Note the fact it's slow and the other fact you will replace it soon with a level 30 whirlwind axe/mace/sword. Still easy to get from Razorfen Kraul early boss and good if you are planning to solo most of the level 30s weapon quest. Slow, but very powerful.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=19557

PvP reward for fighting in WSG. 30 marks may sound like a lot of matches, but this weapon has big dps, it's slow and wonderful. Horde has a different (better) name and styling once again. If this is your main hand and you are tired of grinding marks again, your off-hand could be something like this:

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=1292

Drops from Shadowfang Keep. Perfect weapon to start dual wielding at level 20 if you want to, for both alliance and horde. Put this to your off-hand:

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=6220

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=2942
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=2941
Something similiar to Meteor shard would be this. These drop from The Stockades and the boss (called Bruegal Ironknuckle) is an extra boss there.. So he is not going to be part of your every run. He still drops both of these, so get just the other one.

Zones: Alliance: Should finish their questing in Redridge and then move to Duskwood. You should also pay a visit to Wetlands at level 24-25, when you can do more quests there. And for the Horde: You will see Stonetalon mountains really becoming an option now, got there at level 23 or so, do all the quests you find worhty and then proceed with Hillsbrad Foothills. In PvP servers Ashenvale horewer is a lot more safer place to level, with lots of quests to do. Southern Barrens includes a lot of walking, but usually the quests are a bit longer, including more killing so it doesn't matter much.

Instances: The Deadmines and Wailing Caverns still been fresh you have a chance to go to Shadowfang keep http://www.wowhead.com/?zone=209 and The Stockades http://www.wowhead.com/?zone=717 at level 22-26. Razorfen Kraul http://www.wowhead.com/?zone=491at levels 28-33.

Talents:

Just a few words for those now.. Since this guide has been written long before 2.3 changed some parts of the talent trees some info here might sound a little bit odd. Speaking of level 10-60 levels in here: Arms is for those who don't know nothing about anything, and that think it's the best tree to pick.. They are wrong! 2-handed fury, with a very fast 2-hander is a lot better, but i do understand arms warriors because they maybe want to do some PvP every now and then. Deathwish and Mortal strike are in there.

What makes 2-handed fury so wonderful it's the fact that your attacks usually also hit the target and you can have a stronger spec earlier on, before DW fury passes 2-handed fury at some point deep in the tree. But if you do spec DW now, you also have to fight against mobs 2-3 levels lower than you to make most attacks hit the target.

Deep arms: http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warrior/talents.html?350200000000000000000000500000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Improved charge is a filler, so you can put those points elsewhere if you want... I know that some low level warriors like rend, the downside is that you must use talents to buff it up, and even then rend damage stays too low. Avoid like plague! If you are a "cleaver grinder" imp. thunder clap is much better.

DW Fury: http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warrior/talents.html?000000000000000000000000505010450000000000000000000000000000000000

Another alternative for Commanding presence is imp. Cleave. You can live without Piercing Howl too, but it gives a lot for only one talent point. Can be used as an escape tool for instance.

2-handed Fury:
http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warrior/talents.html?000000000000000000000000505010400500000000000000000000000000000000

The idea on this 2-handed fury is, that you save points when you don't have to take imp. dual wield. Besides you don't need as much hit rating either.

30-40:

Quests:

Time for berserker stance quest! Pick it up from the trainer and go to isles west of The Barrens. The quest is easy if you bring a potion and good bandages along. Renember to use your retallion. I won't spoil the fun, by telling more details.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=6975
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=6976
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=6977

Here are 3 of the most famous weapons in our warrior community. This is going to take some time if you decide to solo. The trolls you have to kill are around 30-39 levelled in Stranglethorn Vale. The elementals you have to kill are around level 37-39. Liferoots can be bought from AH. When you have these, go back to Alterac and speak with the troll again. Now you have to face a level 40 elite mob, which can be killed by 2 peaple or you can ask some high levelled player. They will help for sure.
Pick the mace if, you you have followed my Deep arms talent spec. Axe, if you haven't and you are poleaxe specced. Sword, if you are 2-handed fury. I chose the mace. Most peaple take the axe.

Gear:

Alliance only:
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=6830

Bonebiter is alliance only. The chain begins from Desolace, then sends you to Southshore and from there finally to Scarlet Monastery. There you have to kill: "Dog boss" in library, (won't take long to do this before going to) Herod in the armory, Commander and the high priestess in the Cathedral.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=6829

This comes along with the same quest. If you are pleased with your Whirlwind and you need a tanking weapon this is the one to take over Bonebiter. Downside is spirit in the stats.

Horde only:

There is a SM quest chain for the horde too, but it has different rewards and since it starts from Undercity it's also much more faster to complete. The rewards are: One-handed sword and a necklace, which both suit warrior very well, but i would take the sword and go to WSG for other necklace.

Back to normals:
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=8223

This weapon isn't very popular. It drops from a rare elite mob, which likes to hang around here: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/map.html?wmob=5935;zoneid=1021;source=live
Great for tanking.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=6692

Another spirit axe, this time from Razorfen Kraul. Good to hunt for this if you want the other 2-handed axe there.

Chain of the Scarlet Monastery:

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/itemadvsearch.html?itemclass=4%3A3&itemname=Scarlet&binds=-1&minlevel=&maxlevel=&mindps=&maxdps=&speedmin=0.0&speedmax=999.0&effect=0&showall=0&dep=n&source=Live&stat1=0&statval1=&stat2=0&statval2=&stat3=0&statval3=&sort1=0&sortwt1=&sort2=0&sortwt2=&sort3=0&sortwt3=&sort4=0&sortwt4=&sort5=0&sortwt5=&sort6=0&sortwt6=&sort7=0&sortwt7=&sort8=0&sortwt8=&sort9=0&sortwt9=&sort10=0&sortwt10=&locale=enUS&search=1
Hunter, paladins, shamans and warriors want this, or at least few parts of the set. This set will be replaced by plate overtime, but not that quickly. Awesome set.

Talents:

Deep-arms:

http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warrior/talents.html?350200213522100000000000500000000000000000000000000000000000000000

DW-fury:
http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warrior/talents.html?000000000000000000000000505010450501005000000000000000000000000000

2-handed-fury:

http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warrior/talents.html?000000000000000000000000505210400521005000000000000000000000000000

Instances: Gnomeregan, http://www.wowhead.com/?zone=133 been one of my favorite instances. Go there around 30-35. Scarlet monastery, been one of the best instances in the game has many wings and has a wide level range of 30-42. http://www.wowhead.com/?zone=796

40-50:

Quests: Well there isn't any, which is nice for a change.

Talents:

Arms respec this:
http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warrior/talents.html?050203213525100100210000502000000000000000000000000000000000000000

DW-fury should look like this:
http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warrior/talents.html?000000000000000000000000505010450501005310500000000000000000000000

2-handed fury looks like this:
http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warrior/talents.html?000000000000000000000000505010500521115310500000000000000000000000
Around some level 50 or so you should drop 2-handed fury and spec either arms or DW_fury because those specs have more crit.

Gearing continues:

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=2291

This weapon is so famous it has it's own nickname, Kang. And it's a world drop so you can either pray for a drop, buy it with your rich main or ignore it. And it definetly isn't cheap, because of the lvl 49 warrior twinks. Everyone around you wants this weapon.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=7726

And then some shields, this shield is easy to get, drops with a nice rate from SM cathedral.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=1203

Another shield. It's a world drop, but since i bought mine from AH for just 6 g.. It is brilliant. Sure realm prices are different, but if it''s sold low on AH, go and buy it.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=9478
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=13014
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=30072

3 different axes from the "40s". One drops from Zul'Farak. I had this Ripsaw and i think it procced with a decent rate.. I also critted 3782 with execute with this axe in WSG at lvl 47.. Ofc the execute doesn't get more powerful with a 2-hander, but.. Axe of Rin'ji is a world drop, great axe in all ways, i was fury with 2xAxe of Rin'jis and they were wonderful. Then there is the weaponsmith Skyforged axe. To remind what you could craft with bs around this level. The reason why i linked only axes is arms spec's poleaxe spec. You want an axe for tanking.

http://www.wowhead.com/?item=9476

These plate shoulders drop from ZF. They used to have spirit instead of crit rating on them. Blizz fixed them and now these are eaily the best shoulders you can have for a very long while if your vallet is size of a small rat.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=9640
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=9410

Cragfist is for tanking and drops from Uldaman. Grips drop from Ful'Farak and are for everything else.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=19581

This is the big one, WSG epic bracers. You must go to BG at level 39 and fight for these. After you have 20xmarks, go to WSG vendor and buy them.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=17734

Tanking helmet from Maraudon. You don't have to go for there just for this, 'cause there is a warrior quest at level 50 which allows you to get a decent helmet. There is a level 40 helmet dropping from Razorfen Downs last boss too, but i can't link it for some reason.

50-Outland:

Quests:

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=8425

This is the last part of warrior level 50 chain quest. Choose, which you find most useful for you.

What it comes to these levels, the point would be to get some decent gear and then just grind quickly to 58.

Gear:

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=19106

I don't have to link anything else from level 50-58 2-handers than this. Go AV at level 51, get this quest from inside the bg and then just go help others to slay the opposite general. I have to say that horde can get this much easier. I gone to AV 7 times and never won. Then i got bored and specced fury.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=8425

This time i posted a quest and this is the last part of warrior level 50 chain quest. Choose, which you find most useful for you.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?source=live;wquest=3528

This quest is nice to get and complete, IF you didn't choose the helmet from warrior quest. That helmet has a lot of stamina on it.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=11678

This is plate piece, which drops from Blackrock Depths. BRD has lot's of loot for all the classes and there are a lot of bosses too. Usually groups glear this boss though as the first boss in BRD so this is easy to get too. Low drop rate, but you will make a lot of trips here.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=16730

And then another "warning" about level 57-60 warrior sets, dont touch them.

Zones: Plaguelands seems to be one of the best choises right now. Arms warriors should however notice, that many mobs in this zone don't bleed. This is where fury shines. I grinded from 51-54 on Sorrow hill, which is highy populated by Alliance, so horde in PvP servers should go elsewhere. Blasted Lands has some quests, which are mostly based on killing mobs. Stay here for a while when you are on your warrior level 50 quest and Sunken Temple. Silithus in southern Kalimdor. Never been there yet with even any of my alts, but heard it's a very good zone. Fel wood in northen is a good stopping point at level 50, but i wouldn't waste my time on Timberland hoold reputation, because the big reward comes at exhalted and it's a long grind. Winterspring next to Felwood becomes a very good arms grinding zone when you hit 55 and go hunt yetis. Yetis bleed and if you have second wind, their "frost based CC" also gives you some health back, which is vital.

Instances: Sunken Temple http://wowhead.com/?zone=1417 is part of the level 50 warrior quest so i would consider going there at some point. Blackrock depths http://wowhead.com/?zone=1584(52-56) is a very long isntance in Blackrock mountain. Study this link well, because if you want certain warrior drops from those 133 BRD drops, you must ask your group to kill those bosses. These two instances are all you need, but you can find more from here: http://wowhead.com/?zones=2

Ok, thx. All those "u" words are there to save some space. You see, i had some trouble fitting all this into one post.

Sticky!

Nice guide. Only thing is that you disregard the racial diplomacy. "What happens when u are exhalted?" I don't know anyone who is exalted with all factions and few who have the reputation they want with the factions they want. 10% more reputation is 10% less grinding. You make hours with this one, specially in outland.

Q u o t e:
41: Weapon mastery, fill it up now. I can´t tell you how useful this is! You miss less often, more crit and you can handle higher lvl mobs and kill lower lvl mobs quickly.

as far as I remember, after TBC weapon skill does not touch miss rating.

nice idea you got but work a bit more on it m8.
you'r on the dancefloor now, keep on dancing. ;D

also maybe some more explanation whould be great. every talent seems the best =P

When i took this talent all my atks felt more powerful, just a hugh plus to my hits and so on. I don't reget taking this talent. And which spec is the best? If u have to fight against 2 bleeder mobs at the same time Arms is a better build. But with fury you don't overkill. Fury also allows you to choose weapons more freerly and one-handers are easier to find in my opinion, since there are so many. FURY EVEN AFTER NERF IS THE BETTER BUILD.

Thank you for reading.

I'll keep on making this guide to be better. Less spelling mistakes and i will read all the posts players write here. I am listening to you all and upgrading this guide. Thank you all for your posts.

Edit: I would also like to hear a bit more of your opinions about the racial side of the faq.

Q u o t e:
5. Racials Draenei: HoT with 3 min CD. Heals 1100 at lvl 70. Heroic presence effects only others...

Heroic Presence (Racial Passive)
Increases chance to hit by 1% for you and all party members within 30 yards.

Im not saying it isn't a decent guide for people just starting out, but some of your info is downright wrong.
