i certainly lost interest in lvling all the way to 70 and doing brand new instances with super epics etc etc.

the game has lost it thrill now (imo) so if anyone has the same feelings, maybe we could create an old time

I'm struggling to understand.

Rather than leveling to 70 and discovering the new content you want to go back and do the same stuff again?

Well there's this one thing... The old content was actually good.. The new... naaah, not so much. Sockets? Just enchant v 2.0.
Raids? Trash respawns killed the fun in raiding the new instances.
Heroics? Dull, they hit hard, so what? The loot is crap anyway.
Arenas? Well, I'm not that into pvp so I'll stick with raiding.

Sure, some of the encounters are fun but it doesnt make up for all the bull#!%@ that comes with them. Such as consumables and trash respawns. I have nothing against popping a few pots now and then to kill the endguy of the internet. But doing it on a regular basis for several encounters just goes beyond what I can handle, specially combined with the retarded respawns.

Untippable - Karazhan - 70 Tauren Druid
Papper - Twisting Nether - 60 Dwarf Warrior
Papper - Ravencrest - 60 Tauren Hunter

From my point of view is better "more" than nothing.

Don't use such strong words. You'll be seen as weak.

Er, excuse me, but how many TBC raiding instances have you done exactly, oh uber one?

And you believe that you won't be "popping" consumables on a regular basis to do MC, BWL, AQ and Naxx?

As far as whines go, I can take the "I don't like it" opinions, because, hey, it's an opinion and everybody has different tastes. But trying to substantiate saying the expansion sucks because the raiding is hard and I have to take potions, is ridiculous, as anyone having progressed through raiding content will tell you.

edit: typo (sigh)

So if you accidentally, through slowly gaining xp from killing high lvl50's, lvl to 61, you have to delete your character and start again? :D

No, I guess they'd just keep raiding regardless of levels, but sticking to the pre-TBC raids, so it would get a lot easier as time went on.

Sounds fun, but I cba to level another character to 60. :-P

I actually think that this is a good idea for those who do not enjoy playing the new content that was added with the Burning Crusade expansion.

If one does not like the new stuff so much, then it seems sensible to stick with the old stuff that one liked better.

If you decide to go through with this and create a guild that focusses on the old content, then I wish you the best of luck :-)
