Prepatch: We don't care about PvP, we just want to be viable tanks.

The change that occurred in the 2.0.10 patch increased the multiplier to 3.5 times weapon speed.
Main hand hit: 3.5*speed
Off hand hit: 1.75*speed
Main hand crit: 7*speed
Off hand crit: 3.5*speed
That is what was changed.
Rage Gained from dealing damage = ((Damage Dealt) / (Rage Conversion at Your Level) * 7.5 + (Weapon Speed * Factor))/2
Can we pls know finaly from a blue poster if the speed is refered only to original speed of weapon and not to any future haste increase? (even if players alredy writed a lot of experiments) we wil like an Official response :)

I actually think that the effect of speed changes are part of the large group of things that fall inside the confines of the "things-you-need-to-find-out-yourself"-category. To be honest this is how it should be. It is ok to give us some basic knowledge based on what is the same for all warriors (or every player for that matter) but when it comes to individual choices it is up to us to find it out on our own. Would I mind if they told me the effect of haste effects on rage generation? Not at all... I would wellcome it. But personally I don't believe it is in the spirit of the game to be handed that kind of information.

Just reinstall the old formula and it will be fine.
Well, thats why they changed it, because it scaled to good with gear. When dual wielding in naxx etc pre 2.0 I had almost unlimited rage which really wasnt ment to be.
But anyway, the rage is just fiiiiine atm imo.

Seconded. With old formula and current gear + 80 dps one-handers, you'd be at 100 rage all the time. You still are if you get windfury totem :P
