Gabble's Bar is now officially up and running for most evenings, although over weekends it may drop a little as me and Gabbleton may not be available...it has become extremly popular with characters entering the bar a few minutes after iether of us come online, im guessing we must be in thier friends list and see us come on...

We are going to be looking for more staff, as currently Garnet is the Barmaid and Gabble is the owner of the tavern! and I can tell you thier were alot of poeple waiting for orders!

To find us, We are located in Stormwind in The Park district by the Mage Quarters. As you enter the park it is the building on your left! It is a nameless Tavern with a mailbox outside! That is where our new Tavern is...please help us grow this community and use it to form a better basis for RP!

We are actual players running the Tavern, not NPC's - so it goes a long way when you can actually RP with the staff of the Tavern!

Food & Drink - Food is served from 12 to 6pm each day (and if any staff are actually present, same goes for drink, as obviously we cant man it 24/7)

Alcahol:
We serve most common beverages which can be found through out Stormwind, and we do not overcharge for the drinks - infact we make it alot cheaper for the lower levels to enjoy the large amount of booze then can choose without worrying at burning a hole in thier pockets!
Prices range from 3 to 10 silver per drink(s) - Tips are accepted...hehe ;-)

A fine port brewed by the various pirate organisations! we get this beverage from valid supplies...dont be surprised if you find parrot feathers mixed in to it for added taste! ...no refunds.

A cheese imported straight from the finest cheese makers of Kalimdor! Goes well with some wine too, speaking from personal experience .. Heh.

Coyote Steak 5s
Tender, juicy, medium rare, charred to the bone. You name it, I'll burn it!

Frog Leg Stew 6s
Don't like frogs? No matter, you'll love eating these ones! Don't be surprised if something moves
in ther.. I mean, garantueed dead frogs!

Crab Cakes 4s
A good snack for inbetween chats with yer friends. A little cruncy at times, but hey, what'd you expect from a crab?

Raw Mudsnapper Delight 3s
Prepared and cut up, but not cooked! Make sure yer taste buds and stomach can handle raw fish! For the fishlovers.

Boiled Clam Soup 7s
Creamy, rich with flavour, and caught all the way along the Stranglethorn shores to make sure we get only the best clams! If you're lucky you might find a pearl in there somewhere ..

Goretusk Liver Pie 6s
A hearty snack with quite a bit of liver! And other ingredients you really don't wanna know the origins of. As long as it tastes good, right?

Herb Baked Egg 5s
Good for breakfast, good for dinner, good for a snack along the way! Jus' tell me what kind o' egg you want, and I'll fix it up just the way ye like it!

Roasted Boar Meat 4s
Aah, a meal for all you tough guys out there. Hot and spicy, and all meat! MEAT!

Freshly Baked Bread 3s
You could jus' go for a dry loaf of bread, but why not combine it with any of the other meals and slam it on there? Baked it meself ..

Moist Cornbread 3s
Spiced from itself, and a nice corny flavour to it. Just bread, but a little different.

We hope to sell food and drinks which 'Cooks' can provide for us! We will slip in some pennies (just dont expect us to pay 20g for a stack of twenty - we want it nice and cheap while having a nice wide menu of drink and food)

Staff we are looking for (speccially for those friday and saturday nights) We are looking for:
1) Bouncers - as long as you have the right attitude to chuck roudy poeple out your hired!
2) Barstaff - More bar staff required for busy evenings

Ultimate Goal:
To provide a constant presence in the Tavern during 'Busy Hours' - this counts as after work/school and friday, saturday evenings - this is a community thing and i hope every one comes to the Tavern and enjoys themselves!

You must remember to keep a mature Role Play manner about you, of course it is a Tavern and if you'd like to Role Play being a silly bugger and dance on tables you can, just make sure its done properly! (as in you've had alot to drink, but beware the bouncers and the manager at catching you walking all over those tables!)

Jobs...
Now ultimatly if you'd like to help run Gabble's Tavern then you can choose to help us bar staff serve drinks (if you do it for an evening you will get paid 1 gold for the night - ok its not much but its keeping it sensible, thier is no real money earner here except for tips) and just general prat around behind the bar, tell a couple of dirty jokes or just have a quiet chit chat to your fellow alliance members

Bouncers will need to look after poeple, and make sure no one enters the Tavern with any weapons (actually emote searching those crafty rogues) and just generally keeping the peace while looking big and buff!

Dress Attire:
Bar Staff - are expected to wear just plane shirts, skirts or trousers - bear in mind flashing some flesh may get your more tips!

Bouncers: Tuxedo's are a must...it would look nice and presentable! with attitude!

Fun Events

Now these are early days but please can you sticky this thread for those that read this? if we can get this going and get it widely known and turn it into an event every week it will give us Roleplayers something more fun to do! We are after all on this Role Play server to RP!!!!

In the future I will plan some events so keep watching! remember thier will be Drama in a Tavern ran by actual poeple and not NPC's - you can actually have a conversation with the bar staff :) I plan on dancing contests, fire work displays etc - only so much we can do, but i will try and promise you all to make it fun!

In Character Lore: The Background of the Tavern:

Gabbleton, a gardener and cook, just recieved notice that his uncle, whom he had not seen too much of, left a broken down Tavern in the park of stormwind. At a loss of what to do with it Gabbleton left it as it was, untill, when he bumped into Garnet both came up with a cunning plan...a plan to become the most famous Tavern in Stormwind! <end>

ok so much for my Lore...but that is the basic gist of the history :) in the future we will edit this section and put a proper story down :) it is Gabbleton's story so i cant say too much till i have the go ahead!

Tavern business doing farely well!

We are looking however for entertainment, so if you have any ideas for any entertainment throw them at this post!

Ok some staff did not last long! second update for this evening, I will (along with Gabbleton) will only except well established Role Players who are level 40+ minimum -

Another Requirement is FlagRSP2 which is a RP add-on you can download from cursegaming.com! its very good and you can see others with the same add-on - it has instructions for install!

Poor RP will be met with warnings and advice - if poor RP continues (and this goes for all staff) you will be fired!

just a reminder that this is for the community, and we are trying to create a professional tavern atmosphere for other players within the community. If they get fed up, we ged bad rep. simple.

Woot, finally found this thread.


I haven't been on that much the past few weeks, but it's been busy with school.

Also, we are hiring people below level 40 (Garnet said we didn't couple of posts up). The only real requirement we have is excellent RP qualities, and yes, flagRSP or similar is a big plus.

But yeah, I'll try and be on more when it gets more quiet with school. Which should happen soon.

This is lovely, ill drop by when I can. If your in need of any more servants or barmaids I would love to help out. I used to be a Barmaid on another RP realm so I got some experience.

*Sigh*......................want to transfer to Sporeggar? :P this sounds absolutely brilliant, I think I might even make an alt on your realm for the tavern :)
