I guess 3-5 weeks. They'll probably want the patch on PTRs for 2-3 weeks before going live with it.

As it is, there are people who lack the gear to tackle Gruul as it is, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to get "PvE"-toned characters, much like in the PTR before patch 1.11.

If you can't run level 70 5-man instances to get gear, you will probably be better off going there instead of Gruul

You won't kill Gruul with gear from level 70 5mans, except from a handful items from heroics. The point was, that this "PVE-tone" would mean the inventory would be full of pots and other sorts of consumables. And gear would be karazhan-quality gear.

Why nerf gruul he is perfectly fine :(. Just fix the bugs where he doesnt ground slam every other try. I know how random the gruul encounter can be but if you practise it a lot and people know what to do it becomes way easyier. Havent tried magtheridon yet so i cant judge that encounter yet. But i know gruul can be incredibly random sometimes but thats what people said from Cthun as well. And if you trully have the right tactics and people know what to do, then gruul really aint that hard.
Edit: But then again i realise the insane consumble requirement for this boss that makes it a bit to heavy for the more 'casual guilds' so ill respect the incomming nerf as long as its aimed towards the need of consumbles in this and future encounters.

Hydross is consumable fest too, no? So you have what you want right around the corner. There's no need to make 2nd 25man boss so heavy on consumables, effectively making it impossible for more casual people to raid anything past Maulgar.

Still no word on balancing the hunter dps... if it wasn't for Maulkar's adds, i don't think we'd ever be taken to Gruul's lair... not sure on Magtheridon, either...
