The event will always last for 19 days, and it appears the date in the Event Calendar was mistakenly off by one day. Apologies to anyone waiting until the last day to turn in.

Q u o t e: The event will always last for 19 days,
and we, the players, knew this because of.... what?
i only remember ONE lunar event in the past so far... and sorry, but i didn't count the days it lasted or i don't remember it after 1 year.
u might take the chance now that u noticed the calendar might have errors (as you personally admitted) and check ALL OF IT to avoid future similar problems?

I sure hope we will check the dates in the calendar in the future :)
Thanks for your always very constructive criticism Sumomo.

Q u o t e:
Learn by mistakes?
yeah well this account is (not yet) permabanned
yay
but u really should act more like humans and knowing you're threating humans (which can get hotheaded and use the F word... which gets filtered anyways).
sometimes i read posts... good posts... and then some1 sais *##* (<- hope this gets filtered, hehe) and i think "oh dear... he gave the CMs the perfect excuse to ignore the point of his post and reply to it... now they'll just close it"
i think that's not really fair (within limits ofc, thats why you are foum moderators)
- real nice criticism or question posts get completely ignored most of the times
- same post with a single hotheaded word... get inmediately closed... as if you guys were searching for a excuse to be able to lock it without really answering the issue.
sometimes i even dare to think that you make alts to start a flame and then have excuse to close ^^

Q u o t e: Really, it's no-one elses fault but your own for leaving it to the last day.
thats like saying when the server crashes its our fault or when there is a bug in the game its our fault,
the player has the right to choose when to hand somthing in. it was blizzard who made the mistake here not the player

ok soo it was blizzards mistake(wich i am not saying if it is or not) but anyway they can“t stand still for every mistake they make and fix this or that, i am sure that they have a bussy day in paris and try to satisfy as much customers as they can, all i can see now is that this topic will reach page 2 and 3 and everyone forgot.

Q u o t e: Same with me.Hey you don't think I'm sitting at home while I post on these forums do you?.
Sorry but just really really sick of people whining about the slightest little thing. It's a sad reflection of life that we have turned into a world of whiners who complain about the slightest little thing even if it doesn't personally affect us.
Oh, c'mon. Just because a Moonglade event isn't the thing the cool kids do this is classed as petty whining? But God forbid the raid instance servers are down for an evening, right?
Luckily I turned in my elder coins last Sunday but just because I did I can't sympathise with the people who were affected by this mistake? Pffft. Especially if a big fireworks event was planned, which I wasn't aware of, this is as valid a complaint as anything. Just because it isn't your "thang", other people aren't allowed to complain? Uh-huh.
Q u o t e: Maybe it was bad for you but people always jump on the complaining bandwagon.
Lucky for you the "flame the complainers" bandwagon is clearly the on riding the moral high ground.

No you got that wrong. Blizzard is not obligated to do the lunar event at all. They made a mistake, but they are not obligated to fix it and apparently they don't care enough to do so. The player does NOT have the 'right to choose when to hand somthing in'. Please quote the relevant pieces of law (any country will do) if I'm mistaken.
And no I'm not a fanboi but I do hate people stating obviously wrong things as fact.

Is it just me or are you actually trying to make what should be a humble apology somehow sound patronising at the same time?
