Because of real-life time-issues I had last week, here is a double episode this week! (Episode 36 + 37)
Mod subject of this week part 1
Two subjects this week! Let’s start with websites. Although they are not really a mod, they fall under customizing. Let’s start shall we:
Ever wanted to create your own LUA to something readable for websites? (custom guild-bank website for example). lua2phpArray will give you a set of libraries that can easily read lua and convert them to whatever you want. http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/6638/ (some PhP knowledge required!)
If you ever want to start a raid you need to announce it a couple of days before it starts. Of course, you will need to know how many members will come. PhPraider is a complete package to add all your games and raids and allows you to customize the way you want the signups to work. www.phpraider.com
Of course who could forget about a DKP system to track your precious (MY PRECIOUS!) earned points. EQdkp allows you to make a complete system for all your needs (and if you can’t use your way, you can modify it!). http://www.eqdkp.com
Want to add a new UBB/BB-code/.. to your website? Itemstats allows you to add a new custom tag called [item]ID[/item] and it will fetch the item from your favourite website. http://itemstats.free.fr/news.php
If you use PhPraider on your guild-website it might be handy to have a way to import the data from the website to in-game and start inviting people. PhPraidviewer will get the job done! http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/7020/
Want to check the status of your raid? For example, amount of AFK/DC people, how many mana or HP people got, etc. XRS (Xraidstatus) allows you to make customs bars the way you want them and you can check the status of various aspect within the raid. http://www.wowace.com/wiki/XRS
Readychecks, reagentschecks, durabilitychecks.. check check check. A raid-leader needs to check a lot of things during the raid to make sure nobody is slacking (don’t you look at me!). There are multiple mods for this, but the best so far (IMO) is ORA2. http://www.wowace.com/wiki/ORA2
You got people constantly forgetting what their task is? FuriousTask is a way to assign tasks to people and they can see what they are suppose to do. http://www.wowace.com/wiki/FuriousTask
Neither the authors nor Blizzard are responsible for the content of any Addon or any site which is linked in this post. We do our best to only provide links to “allowed” AddOns and websites whose content is free of material which might not fall under Blizzard’s EULA and/or ToS. Always use a software which scans for viruses and/or keyloggers/Trojans; AddOns and the sites they come from are used at your own risk.
If you see a link or AddOn which is not behaving the way it should, please let us know, so we can review.
Engineer: Don't pull that group yet, lemme try something.
Group: Try what?
Engineer: I'll show you, it's neat, give me 20 seconds for cooldown.
Group: Pull now, quick, for the love of god!

You are writing Lua wrong.
Q u o t e: "Lua" (pronounced LOO-ah) means "Moon" in Portuguese. As such, it is neither an acronym nor an abreviation, but a noun. More specifically, "Lua" is a name, the name of the Earth's moon and the name of the language. Like most names, it should be written in lower case with an initial capital, that is, "Lua". Please do not write it as "LUA", which is both ugly and confusing, because then it becomes an acronym with different meanings for different people. So, please, write "Lua" right!
