Now is the actual process of AoE grinding. The killing part is really easy. All you need to do is press a key, aim, and then unleash hell on your foes. And watch the purple numbers fly.

I wouldn’t recommend actually grinding before lvl 40 or so, but that’s just me (I prefer questing, it means more for the game to me – yes, I know, I’m writing a grinding guide….). But if you insist, I really recommend only grinding when you hit 26. This is when you get Arctic Reach 2/2 and Imp Blizzard 3/3, which are vital talents. Otherwise you’ll only fit in 1 full Blizzard.

Pick a place where there are 5-10 MELEE mobs, of your same level.
All ranged classes murder you, as they interrupt your blizzard casting and generally mess everything up. If you’re lucky, and there’s only one, you may be able to sheep them, but this is risky.
STAY AWAY FROM RANGED! There should be space for blinking around, running around, and also a good place to flee just in case. I’ll suggest some good places later on.

DO NOT put Ice Armor on! This has the same effect as frostbite because it disperses the mobs. You want them clustered! So use MAGE ARMOUR instead, and if you don't have it, just don't put a shield on.

Remember - No. Ice. Armour.

Here is the entire AoE process, and I’ll explain how further below.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q u o t e:

- Choose a good spot, where you can see 5 or 10 mobs, and a good space for you to run around.

- Pop up Ice barrier, or mana shield (not recommended – ice barrier doesn’t waste mana)

- Mount up if you have a mount

- Take a deep breath and hope you don’t die.

- Run into the mobs – try to get the mob furthest away from your original position first, to the mob nearest to you.

- After you have the mobs you want, run around in spirals for a few seconds to cluster them together. If they’re not in a group, run back and circle them until they are.

- Dismount.

- Put Ice block on, if you have it. Otherwise, put on ice barrier (just to be safe).

- Once they are all hitting you, frost nova, and blink away. Anywhere, so long as it’s not off a cliff, or into more mobs. Strafe away about 16 yards, or a few seconds. This is your max range for Blizzard.

- Hit the key, and aim the green circle so that the edge furthest away from you touches the furthest guy at the back.

- When the first blizzard is about to be over, hit the key again, and aim the green circle so that the furthest edge away from you is just IN FRONT of the guy CLOSEST to you.

- Ice barrier if you want to be safe. You’ll probably run out of mana around here, and you still need mana for one more blizzard and a CoC. Eat a mana gem if you want.

- CoC, then frost nova and blink TOWARDS the enemy (so you’re now behind the mob who was furthest away from you – or you can blink away, but you have to check there IS space. Generally there isn’t, and just to be safe, you should blink towards your mobs)

- Blizzard again, and they should be dead. If not, finish up with a CoC, and if the infidel still insist on living, you can wand them down, AE, Fire blast, etc.

- Hooray! You killed them all!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is a nice video guide that someone made explaining how to do it, similar as listed above (thanks nyuu).
http://warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=30092

It's a very long video, showing the same tactic again and again, but it's 'part of the learning process' :P

There are always people who want to be 'heroes'. Make a macro telling them not to help. Chances are they'll aggro 3 or 4, then fail to kill them. He'll either die or run away, leaving the mobs to go after you again and ultimately kill you. At best, it'll take you longer to kill your mobs as they'll be out of the Blizzard radius.
So shoo the heroes!

Notes on the tactic above

The killing part is very easy to master. It simply involves blizzard, blizzard, CoC, nova, Blizzard, and maybe another CoC.

The pulling part requires precise movements and reactions, as you are being hit by 10 mobs of your same level. Ice barrier is pretty important, as you can lose a lot of hp much faster than you think.
You don’t just charge in like a crazed gnome either, you should tag the one furthest away, then work your way to the front. Keep going back to the first tagged mob once in a while, so they keep their aggro on you. Once you’ve tagged them all, you must run around in spirals, and if there are ones which aren’t with the group, you need to run to them, then run back to the group.

The biggest area for dying is the part between the dismounting and the blinking away.
This is why ice block can be very useful. It needs to be done quickly, but not rushed.
The second you dismount, you must frost nova, but you have to nova all of them.
If there is a mob you know who’s outside the nova range, don’t bother wasting your nova. Just run around in circles (very dangerous) until you can, and immediately blink away. If you’re lucky you might be able to pop up a CoC just before you blink, but this is depending on how good you are.

The first few tries you WILL die a lot. It’s a sad fact, but you have to accept it. Just keep practicing and practicing until you get the times, CDs, and movements right.

Oh no, it's all gone wrong!

Things can go wrong. Not every run is going to be perfect, or identical. Part of the challenge is to deal with these problems (usually involving running away as fast as you can :D).

Here are some things which can mess up, and some solutions -

Nova (after the pulling) does not freeze all the mobs - either through resisting, or just out of range
There are 3 ways of approaching this

- Cold snap, and then nova again
- Summon your elemental, and freeze the extra mobs
- Run away. This is actually probably the best idea, for several reasons.

- It's still early in the AoE run, so there's not much to lose. You'll have mainly full hp and mana, so just try again
- If you CS/Elemental and nova again, the extra mob(s) is away from the main group, which may lead to difficulties later on. You'll also have lost precious seconds refreezing.
- All the mobs are frozen, so it's very easy to run away.

You've eaten your gem, drank your pot, but they're still living and you have no mana

Don't panic. Just pop up ice barrier, and evocate. If you don't have the barrier, freeze and blink away (hopefully you have mana to do this - if you don't, just pray), then evocate. If they've still got more than 50% hp, there's something wrong with your tactic, you're burning your mana far too fast.

Help! An add!

Generally, just leg it. You can try to follow the nova tips (elemental/CS + nova), but the adds will be far from your main group, and have full hp. Freeze your friends and blink out of the area.
If the add is a ranger/caster, run away as fast as you can. Don't even try to fight back, unless your main group is dead and you have a decent amount of mana left to single-target the guys. Do NOT AoE range/caster adds.

If you're evil, run towards some unsuspecting player. He'll either run away, or try to help you, or do some heroic last stand. If it's the last two, then well done, you've saved your life and killed a player.

Places to grind in (thank you Drec, for the coords! :P) –

These are mainly alliance regions, but unless you're on a pvp server, most should be accessible by horde anyway.
There is a nice list of ALL AoE spots (inc Horde) at the bottom too.

I'm assuming you're at least lvl 26 or so for the talents, so I'll start at around this level.

27-30
Raven Hill or Tomb. Duskwood. Good Undead mobs to grind on, lots of them and fast respawns. Watch out for casters, and there may be limited space to blink around in. Lots of quests for killing these guys. Undead so no runners.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q u o t e:
21, 37 -
Ghouls
• 65,50 - Worgs
• 68,80 - Worgs
• 72,74 - Worgs

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

25-30
Gnolls in Redridge. Pretty good, generally not too much ranged.

30-35
Witherbark Village. Arathi Highlands. The trolls are great to grind on, but watch out for ranged. There are quests for here too in AH. Look out for runners.

32-35
Yetis in Yeti Cave of Arathi Highlands. No ranged or casters, good to grind on. However, they may be quite spread out, so be careful during pulling process.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q u o t e:
• 46,31 - Yeti Cave
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

35-38
Hillsbrad farms. Horde only, this is an amazing place. Lots of meleeing weak male farmers - annihilate them! Watch out for the mages, though. The farmers run too, so get ready to wand. Work your way to the north, then go south again, etc.

34 - 37
Farms in Arathi Highlands. Lots of humanoids here, no ranged. Be careful for runners, but generally quite good. Kill the civilians!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q u o t e:

• Alliance - 60,57 - Hammerfall Peons / Go'Shek Farm
• Horde - 54,39 - Dabyrie's Farmstead
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

36-40
Murlocs in Dustwallow marsh. These have no ranged and are easy to grind on, since they have no special attacks. This is where AoE grinding starts to kick off, excellent place to grind. There's a large camp of around 40 murlocs north east of North Sentry Tower, with fast respawns.
Over the hill there are another 40 too, but these guys give poison, so watch out.
However, the aggro radius is pretty big, so watch out on this as well, They also run too. Gurgle

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q u o t e:

• 57,16 -Murlocs
• 54,14 -Murlocs
• 57,21 -Murlocs
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

40-44
Murlocs in Swamp of Sorrows. Read above. Gurgle.

Some people are having lots of trouble here, I'm not sure why. The important thing is to find enough space amongst the vegetation, and no ranged. Lots of mobs doesn't matter, more doesn't necessarily higher chance of dying.

44-50
Pirates in Lost Rigger Cove, Tanaris, or just in Tanaris (watch out for the ‘locks though). Some ranged, and they run.

42-45
Trolls in Hinterlands. Not that great because there are lots of ranged mobs. Only really choose here if you have a quest, or you hate the pirates.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q u o t e:
• 31,57 - Trolls at Hiri'watha
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

50-54,
Undead in Sorrow Hill. Great place, this is where the speed of AoE grinding really kicks in when it boosts you to 60. Very fast respawns, and the mobs generally cluster in 5s or 6s in the first place anyway. Lots of runecloth/money drops, and no runners. No ranged. This can be a busy place though, so try to find a quiet time in the day, eg late at night or early in the morning. Weekdays ftw.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q u o t e:

• 51,77 -Sorrow Hill

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

53-60.
Undead in Dalson’s Tears. This is a great place to grind, no ranged at all. Even faster respawns than Sorrow Hill, and good drops too. Nice place to grind for rep for AD, watch out for fears though. This will take you all the way to the infamous 60. This is less busy than Sorrow Hill, so come here when you can.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q u o t e:
• 46,53 -Dalson's Tears.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Above level 40 or so Alliance players can go to Horde areas easily, or vice versa. A lot of people have requested Horde grinding sites, but I don't many but here's a good list compiled by Runningcat (thanks! :P) http://wow.stenbakk.net/grind.htm
And no, I have not grinded past 60 yet >.<

GEAR – if you can, invest in stamina and intellect.
Eagle gear is good, as it focuses on these 2 stats.

Spirit is the only other valid option for a mage, but since you’re casting 100% of the time, all it’ll do is less downtime, but you can drink anyway. Mage armour allows a bit of mana regen (30%), but you'll need a lot of spirit for it to have any effect, so it's not worth it.

Mana/5s - like spirit, you need a lot for effect and it's better to take intellect and stam since you're doing burst mass damage, not slow endurance damage.

+damage does not effect blizzard much. It's a pathetic amount (I've forgotten how much, but it's ridiculously low)

You need lots of intellect because of the high mana usage, and lots of stamina since a lvl 50 being hit by 10 lvl 50s is quite deadly.

1 int = 15 mana
1 stam = 10 hp

Don’t take strength or agility, etc. You need a lot for the effect.

Try to get a rune of perfection from the wsg pvp vendor, as it makes your mobs resist less. It’s a trinket.

Apart from that, the main thing is to have fun! AoE grinding is meant to be fast, fun and exciting, so if you hate it, don’t force yourself! However, DO remember you die a lot in the first few tries, so don’t let that put you off. Once you learn it, you can’t forget, and you’ll be racking in the xp by the 1000s.

Enjoy this guide, and I hope it’s been of use. Have fun in AoE grinding, and may you always be a blink away from danger!

Bangy

PS. If you have any useful things to add, or correct, please do! :P

7. Water Elemental - A guide. Made by Wage.

Hey there.
As many of my fellow mages, here, and the ones I know in-game seem rather displeased with the "uncontrollable" aspects of the water elemental, I figured I might give you all a small hand as I have found great use and fun with it, pvp, pve, and solo.
First of all, let’s go through some basics.

"Basics"

You need to bind some keys in order to increase your reaction speed and the effectiveness of your pet
You will find the keybindings to your water elemental pet bar in you "key-bindings" menu and it is called "Secondary action bar" or close something like that and standard key-binding is ctrl+1 to attack, ctrl+5 to frost nova and ctrl+8 for aggressive. I have successfully bound its frost nova to "T" and the elementals standard attack to “½” (The key next to my "1" key.)..But that’s just me, but have it close to where your hands are
This will enable you to see incoming enemys and use the elementals frost nova to do a long range attack, Elemental nova + frost bolt = huge shatter, and the enemy suffers great from that.
Also it can be used to surprise your enemy making him go "wtf" and before he has time to react to it your frost bolt hits him. Then followed up by your own nova makes it great fun and very useful.
EDIT: Nice addons for water elemental :).
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info6704-Frosty-MageWaterElementalAddon.html , a timer that says when the water elemental expires (45 seconds) and even has a small (but fairly useless) castbar for the elemental in it.

"Training your pet skills"

Now for the hard part.
Many mages have never, ever tryed to handle a pet. And I admit, it is difficult to handle, and to learn it is even more difficult as you only have 45 seconds to figure out what to do plus the fact that you will most likely summon your elemental in combat, leaving you busy handling your elemental while trying to do other stuff, like actually worry about what your opponent is doing.
In which case it can be more of a plague than of any use at all and actually causing you to loose a battle.
Personally I have a hunter, at lvl 57 now, beast master specced, and that has given me a good insight as how to pet works, how to make it attack, when it attacks and so on.
I am not telling you to go lvl a hunter to 57, but take one and maybe lvl it to ~20 or so, and trye doing it, soloing as many mobs as possible, making sure your pet has aggro on them so you will get to click a lot on your "pet attack" button, getting used to it. Mend pet is ftw, also to make your pet run around if you get aggro. You should be able to take at least 2 mobs of your own level and maybe 3 ~1-2 lvls below you, depending on your taste

Another possibily, if you hate hunters ( :O ), and to further your training, is to go to Winterspring and practice soloing those melee elites (fel-guard like creatures, dropping eye of shadow) far down south in the region.
Practice killing those both with and without your elemental, to get used to being able to frost nova from afar, and getting practice on the "elemental frost nova + cone of cold" when/if you get in trouble, to allow for a 1200 crit cone of cold(at least with my spec.) or allow you to gain some distance. The "without" your pet might be good to start of with, as you want to be 100% in control and learn the felguards (not the warlock one) abilities before you start worrying about handling your pet as well, as they can kill you in just a few hits. Mortal strike + normal hit at least 2000 dmg if none crits..
I think, if you learn to use nova when you are in great trouble, you will remember it once you stand in the chaos of pvp/arena battle, and not having to spend your time worrying about your "Oh-*!%*-elemental is not doing anything”, “where the %&#! is my nova" and so on.

On a side-note, the elites in Winterspring are relatively easy to handle as a frost mage, even without the elemental but the elemental will make it a lot easier. Soloed them both with a mage in green + some random blues and with my full tier 2 mage, not much difference in how you do it.
What I personally would do is my frost bolt, pet´s nova, my frost bolt, clicking pet attack right after to make sure pet doesn’t break it’s own nova, my frost nova, running a bit away, being careful as your pet might break that one.
Have your pet on "dont move-button" in case your pet bar shows up, so it will optimize it’s dps, and not having it run around following you instead of attacking. Then you can run using cone of cold and having your elemental just nuke untill it´s nova is ready again, rinse and repat.
By the time you use your second nova, it should be around dead :).

NOTE: How you bind your keys is up to you, mine might not be the best or the worst, just suggestions.
The casters of Winterspring, warlock types, are rather difficult to solo if you don’t have good gear, but make sure to counterspell their shadow school when they start throwing shadow bolts on you.
The felhunters can be kited like the melee ones, just counterspell their mana burn.
You might die from trying this, but I definitely think it is worth the repair bill to get pet skills :)..

"Duel training - Wtf? "

Well, I know duels are imbalanced and so on, but even if you loose, these duels will help you on your way to control your pet.
A duel is a set stage, where you know the capabilities of your opponent, his pet? (warlocks) and possibly his spec.
A good way to start any duel (except rogues) is summon your pet as the duel is ticking down, 3 - 2 -1, you summon it on two, allowing for CGD to pass right before the duel starts, giving you the best use of your limited time range on your elemental.
This following part, part 1, goes for melee classes and warlocks, (mages, situational, depends on what you like to do) (with rogues you dont start with a summon, as mentioned before)
After it is summoned, you click your pet´s nova, hover it over your target and when the duel starts, you pet nova + cone of cold.
That is, again with my spec, a 1200 cone of cold, nice little opener, and a great use for pet nova, as it can’t really be countered and will train you in your "click mouse button to frost nova + cone of cold" synchronizing your pet with yourself. (Which is really what it is all about)
Then you click attack on pet, and just have it nuke your enemy and after that it’s just a normal duel, maybe allowing you to use your pet nova one more time, should the duel last longer. Only difference is you have a pet nuking your opponent as well.

Remember: This is NOT about loosing or winning, though winning of course is more fun, but a good idea for training with your pet, so be sure to duel soullinked warlocks, shadow priests and so on (fights that are hard to make sure you get fast and used to your keybindings for your pet)

This leads us to the second part, priests, paladins, (druids will not be included here as it is very situational, spec and so on, and this is not a duel guide, but a training guide)

For paladins and priests (mages, also situational) you want to start with a sheep should you be able to get it of, usually you will.
After that you get ice barrier up and gain some distance. Summon pet and use a frost bolt and with your mouse hovering over the target, you click your binded key to frost nova + click, having the target stay in the same spot. (make sure to let pet attack right after you charge up your second frost bolt, to make sure it doesn’t break either the sheep or the frost nova, shatter ftw if you can get it of.
Even though they dispel it, as priests and paladins can do, it will allow some surprise and further control and distance to your enemy.
What you do is up to you, but this is the basics of how to give you "training and pet handling" to allow you the most success and enjoyment of your pet.

A last little hint on mages, CGD is ftw, and be sure to exploit the fact you either force him to blink out of your pet’s nova, = global CD for him, allowing your frost bolt to get of or have him standing taking the shatter crit from frost bolt or cone of cold.

NOTE: This is not, and will not be a complete duel-guide, so don’t hang me up on "he can do this with that spec and that skill" and so on, but basics and training tactics. Just to give some ideas, as I mentioned before, getting your pet skills trained in a controlled environment (duels) will give you better control of your pet in a chaotic and situational environment (pvp, arenas, duels).
Good luck

This leads us to the the "real combat", and some basics here.

"pvp-handling - Arena - WSG - AB"

First of all, the arenas.
In 2 vs. 2, if used correctly, your water elemental will become your best friend and reliable partner to handle and crowd-controlling your enemy.
What I usually do is run out with my fellow partner, frost nova them with pet´s nova and shatter crit them before they react. That combined with my partner dps’ing on the same target is enough to burst almost anyone down or at least get a good opener..
I have done it to paladins, priests, beast master hunters, shadow priests, and so on. Basicly everyone is capable of dying very fast if they do not themselves react very fast, and in this case the fact that decursive no longer works comes to your advantage as they have to use normal dispelling mechanism allowing you to get more time..Which is always nice
Warriors are lol-cake, same with rogue, pet nova + blink or pet nova + cone of cold = Loads of dmg and crowd control.
As a frost mage, I have soloed one non frost mage + a rogue taking about 1000 dmg and doing somewhere around 7000 in the 2 vs 2 arena.

Not all of it came in the first post, sorry about that..

A shadow priest + a hunter (dont know spec) and another where my fellow mage got one-shotted by a one-trick pony, arc. power pyro mage. rogue + mage sit

8. Mage Macros 2.0. Made by Flight

I'VE ADDED THE MACROS TO A WIKIPAGE FOR A MORE SORTED LIST.
http://wow.curse-gaming.com/en/wiki/mage-macro-guide/ (besides everyone loves wikipages)

Another wikipage: http://magewiki.wikispaces.com/Macros

For more info on HOWTO write macros read this: http://www.wowwiki.com/Most_Used_Macros#2.0_Macro_Guide

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BUG: MANY ACTIONBAR MODS WILL BREAK THE BELOW MACROS!
All macros using [MODIFIER] or [BUTTON] will not work.

Bartender3 is known to cause issues. (Temp Fix: Change [button:1] to [button:S01] and [button:2] to [button:S02] in your macros, etc) as of r23543 bartender3 is working

Trinity appears to be working.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I thought, let's see what crazy macros people have made.

Here is some of mine:

Lets you spam the Arcane Missile button without breaking our current channel.

/cast [noChanneling:Arcane Missiles] Arcane Missiles

Spamming this would let you +block, -block, cold snap, +block, -block. (CD based on Ice Floes)

/cancelAura Ice Block
/castSequence reset=240 Ice Block, Cold Snap

This'll cast a random poly spell on your target, if you've already polyed someone you can hold ALT while using this macro and it'll re-poly regardless of curent target and you wont lose your current target. Clicking it without ALT and no target will reset the focus target.

/clearFocus [noModifier:ALT]
/focus [harm,nodead,noModifier:ALT] target
/castRandom [target=focus, exists] Polymorph, Polymorph: Pig, Polymorph: Turtle

Cast your shields. (CD based on Ice Floes)

/castSequence reset=24 Ice Barrier, Mana Shield

Eat and drink in one click.

/use [nocombat] Conjured Crystal Water
/use [nocombat] Conjured Cinnamon Roll

Conjure and eat in the same button. Left click for conjure, right click for consume. (Just change the names for the food edition)

/cast [button:1] Conjure Water(Rank 7)
/use [button:2] Conjured Crystal Water

Powerup your frostbolt! (change to firebolt if you're fire)

/use [harm] Talisman of Ephemeral Power
/use [harm] Zandalarian Hero Charm
/cast Frostbolt

AP+PoM macro aka I.WIN.BUTTON. (If you just wanna use whatever trinket you've got equipped use this "/use 13; /use 14" (13 is top, 14 bottom trinket slot)) (Not tested) (Thanks to Kiirin)

/stopmacro [noharm]
/cast Arcane Power
/stopCasting
/cast Presence of Mind
/stopCasting
/use Zandalarian Hero Charm
/cast Pyroblast

Summon your Water Elemental and make it attack our target. (You'll have to spam this button untill the server realize that you've got a pet (usually 3-5 clicks))

/petattack
/cast [nopet] Summon Water Elemental

This will use your own Frost nova, when it's on cooldown it'll use your pets Freeze ability. You can also just right-click to use Freeze.

/click [pet,button:2] PetActionButton5
/cast [button:1] Frost Nova
/click [pet] PetActionButton5

Use/Conjure Mana Gems. Left click consumes the largest gems you have in your bags, right click conjures them in the order specified. To reset the conjure order press ALT+RIGHT CLICK on the macro. (Thanks to Kiirin for the idea)

/use [button:1] Mana Ruby; [button:1] Mana Citrine; [button:1] Mana Jade; [button:1] Mana Agate
/castSequence [button:2] reset=[modifier:ALT] Conjure Mana Ruby, Conjure Mana Citrine, Conjure Mana Jade, Conjure Mana Agate

This macro will create a portal to IF when left clicked, Darnassus if you ctrl+left click, SW if you alt+left click. and if you instead right click it, then it will teleport you instead, after the same rules. IF when rightclicked, Darnassus when ctrl+rightclicked and SW when alt-rightclicked.
Horde will have to change the destinations to TB, UC and Orgrimmar, since i am alliance ;-) (Thanks to Rilith)

/cast [modifier:ctrl,button:2] Teleport: Darnassus; [modifier:alt,button:2]
Teleport: Stormwind; [button:2] Teleport: Ironforge; [modifier:ctrl] Portal:
Darnassus; [modifier:alt] Portal: Stormwind; Portal: Ironforge

Stop whatever you're doing and cast Counterspell (Thanks to Cortaur)

/stopCasting
/cast Counterspell

Decurse whatever your mouse is hovering over, if your mouse is not over anything that can be decursed it'll try to decurse you. (Thanks to Felbane)

/cast [target=mouseover,exists,help] Remove Lesser Curse
/cast [target=player] Remove Lesser Curse

A firemage nuke macro, uses the spells in the below order. (Thanks to Nikso)

/castsequence reset=20 Dragon's Breath, Scorch, Fire Blast, Blast Wave

Post your macros, let's inspire each other...

Good job on putting all threads to one. Though you should have called it "all you need to know about mages".
That title sounds like a whinepost. But it's ok, good job :)

You know you've played your mage too long, when you see a bunch of sheeps and you want to polymorph them to pigs...

So we got a warlock making a sticky post about all our stickies on the mage forum. Now log your Mage and do it again please : ) Theres a good boy : P

If you read my personal post, you would know that my mage has not been updated.

Why oh why oh why did it have to be warlock! Sigh...

I don't like the idea of this compilation thing...
-Firstly, no one is going to find the relevant part of the thread. Instead they'll just post random questions on the forum, like HALP TALENTX PLX!
      - Secondly, all the word editting stuff has gone! Where are all my bullet points, underlining and bold text! Grr...
      - Thirdly, this is a FORUM. I'm meant to update my guide, communicate with people asking questions, and posting answers. Not just stick a guide up and forget about it.

- Lastly, some people here spent ages researching (esp the talent ppl, kudos to them) for their threads, and now they're just carelessly dumped into a big thread where they won't be read much. Sigh.

I strongly hope Blizzard changes their mind, because this idea is quite silly.

I see what u mean, Bangy. Truth is that i did it because blizz said the old stickies where getting removed, and if there were no option at all to find help like this, forum would be spammed even more.

I'm wondering if Blizzard could change it a bit so the original guide writers could change their guides here?
Because that'll make this idea actually somewhat more VALID, or else it's a pretty silly idea.

A guide is never complete, there is always more to write, more to advise, more to add......

Umm, if i got the technical stuff right. That would mean that you would have acces to mess with ALL my other posts, well blizz changed the name of the thread, but whatever. It is a good idea but not totally viable in lenght, execpt if blizz comes up with a fabolous idea, like giving each thread a number and letting your account edit/delete in thread XXX post XXX-XXX.
