Got confused by the Topic? This thread is to show everyone, even ourselves, that WoW is beautiful built. Usually you just forget that WoW can be beautiful and you just play... But, if you just dare to lower your FPS a little bit by improving your video quality, you can get really beautiful pictures... For an example, this one I just screenshotted, no afterwork at all.
Really nice pictures. The beauty of some places does take my breath away sometimes. Also, i am glad i can stop fighting mobs for a minute or two just to really take in the surrounding area and like what i see.
The creation of an idiot proof system only triggers evolution to create a bigger idiot.
/agree WoW IS beautiful. There have been quite a lot of calls lately along the lines of "better gfx plz blizz" and "improve the graphics" etc. there really is no need. Perhaps these people should improve thier hardware before asking Blizz to improve the graphics. Or perhaps they are the type of people that walk around with thier heads bowed down and never see the sunrise?

I just thought it would be fun for people to post their most beautiful screenshots and maybe comment. Got to remember why I was so amazed by WoW the first time ;)
WoW is indeed beautiful - taking time out on my main to enjoy Nagrand or Zangarmarsh - or levelling my druid and re-experiencing the beauty of Arathi, Hinterlands and Redridge during sunsets. It provides a refreshing break that still after 2 years can take my breath away seeing the sunrays through the trees and the colour of the terrain gradually changing.
Sure the graphics aren't geat but they have their own quaint and appropriate beauty about them, much like the soundtrack.

and the beuty kinda fades in all the lagg(ye even you turn the quality down), buggs, you getting stucked everywhere, farming, running everywhere, stupid place mobs (like linking 6 mobs that you need to kill).

It depends on your interest of course. I prefer to play everything maxed except Multisampling, where i go with 4x only. still i play with 50-60fps all the time. So I guess it depends on your computer too of course.
You all seem to take screens where the sun is behind your character to create that glow effect. Try looking at it without, the world does need a small graphical update.
But nevertheless, it is not buttugly heh.
But it is soon ripe time to start upgrading game graphics.
Myself I am running 1280*1024 with all effects at max. I still think it requires a bit more to make it look good.
The true meaning of all is unknown to many and all.
