Hello there!
There are lots of hunters who wonder whether taming the Grimtotem Spirit Guide (spectral wolf) is intended or not.

In order to tame one of those wolves a hunter has to spend lots of honour/spirit shards to get a helm with meta socet, then spend money on a mystical skyfire diamond and drum of battle just to stand a chance taming one of those beasts.

My question is - are you going to keep the wolves that way? It will be very very disappointing if after a certain patch the wolf is no longer available, unable to be fed or its appearance has changed.


So please let us, hunters, know if it's worth going after this elusive wolf!

Do not quote me on this as I am not an official and just a little troll...

Usually however blizz policy seems to let those who did something earlier keep it even if they disable something later, such as that ZA belt for badges, which name eludes me currently, or leg enchants for twinks. Hence I am willing to take a punt that this will also apply for the spirit wolf, so get em while you can ladies and gents! Thats my 5 coppers anyway.

Great news! By the way, are you fixing it's running animation and their Bestial Wrath colours changing?.

I have not yet gotten the helm and meta gem to tame it because I didn't know if it was worth the hassle if it was removed after a while, but now I will :)

Am I the only one who remember them saying that FD/drink was clever use of game mechanics a long time ago? And look what happened.

They changed their mind then - most people are actually allowed to do that once in a while.

In this case, however, there isn't any advantage to this pet over any other, correct? It just looks very irregular and imo good compared to normal pets, meaning they should have no reason for wanting to reverse this on account of gaining an unintended advantage.
