Just a relatively quick question here:


What class would you guys say is the best at boosting instances?

My guild has been discussing this for a little while, and so far they are undecided. I would have to say that ATM al lvl 70 warlock seems to be better at some thana mage, because of Seed Of Corruption.

At low levels DM, SFK and BFD nothing beats a class that has some sort of Nova. I used to be able to do SFK in around 10 mins on my Holy/Disc Priest. Run around picking up all the mobs> Nova to death>Profit

i think that in lower instances<(deadmines stockade sfk) Warlocks are better boost since they can kill them fairly quickly...
but a mage owns in like sm....

Mage is the best booster pre-lvl 50 dungeons(after that all are the same).We pretty much one shot everything :o)

What sort of AoE does a warrior have? (no experience of them at endgame)

Mage. I've pulled whole ZF and aoe'd everything :<

I would have to agree with paladin-thingy. Protection specced Paladin, more specifically. Can take a hit, can save your butt with healing and taunt. Doesn't take damage themselves...

I'd say mage up to uldaman, druid up to brs/strat/scholo

Best combination would be fury warrior if you can heal him to avoid downtime in ST and upwards, otherwise it's kinda no downtime and good clearing speed.

Whirlwind and Cleave mostly, but in level 50 dungeons I just charged in, pop Sweeping Strikes and let a barrage of Cleaves rip through the mobs, get's 'em down in no time.

That human paladin sure knows how to boost...

Protection paladin is definetly strong at it. Just boosted rfd, tough that it would be hard, but I could pull half of the instance and pew pew <3 Well, not half, but loads. And I'm 63 in crappy greens...

I'd say warrior atleast in lower level instances.

No downtime and alot of armor = pulling the whole instances and kill them in a few whirlwinds.

Every AoE class with lots of damage and/or a armor above 5k at around lvl 50 instances

warlock, spam SoC boom u just cleared the instance

the funniest and best way to use SoC is in SM Cath, just run to the last boss start spamming SoC and the whole instance will run to you and explode ^^

with a warrior, cant whirldwind only hit 4 enemies?

so if i was to run say SM cath, run up to the main boss, pull the entire cathedral, wouldnt the whirlwind take a while to take them all out?

I'm going with Protection Paladin.
