Blizzard implemented the Voice Chat... But honestly do you use it? or do you still use the external programs? (Ie: Ventrillo Teamspeak) I have tried to use the voice chat from Blizzard, but that was like 1x and that's about it. Not that it sounds bad, just not using it. I can imagine tho that some guilds might use this on a private channel.
It's been a while, and i'm kinda curious if ya'll use it or totally not :)

TBH I had forgotten about it completely until now.. That's how much I've used and cared about it.
With Vent and TS, there was hardly any reason for Blizzard to make it in the first place. Seems it has only created audio problems for some people.

We use Ventrilo within the guild, and I certainly don't feel the need to voice chat with randoms when I PUG.

When I play on a guilded character, we use Ventrilo which gives damned good sound. And also cost about 16 dollars for a 3 month period. Given the current pound/dollar exchange rate that seemed pretty reasonable.

Don't see the point of it in PUGs - seen enough bad behaviour in text without opening the door to anything else.

Never tried it, the guild I am with use Vent, cannot see that changing, either.

I use it for arena when i play with a friend who's not in my guild (and therefor has no access to our vent).

turned it on a few times but its quite pointless since it is so quiet and garbled.

Tested it on the first day, noticed how crap it was compared to Ventrilo (at least on Executus), turned it off and forgot about it until I saw this thread.

So no, I'm not using it, and probably never will either.

Used to use it but haven't been able to since all of my friends decided that they were shy and would rather type it out...

Plus i got sick of the whole 'flight traffic controller' gags i got from sitting at my computer with a headset on.

I tried exactly once. But hey, who needs hardware accelerated sound anyway? :P

I have enabled voice chat in the begin, but in the party's I was in it was never used. Not in a guild party and not in a pug and nobody was asking for it. In our guild we don't have vent ot teamspeak eighter. A well, I am so used to type that I don't mis it at all.

tried to use it and probably would try to get other people to use it IF it worked properly. since it doesn't i'm stuck to typing and i'm doing fine.
