Lots of people have boosted their teams to get gladiator but that's old now!

Newest tactic to secure gladiator is to make a lot of tickets complaining about arena team name to get leader of the team THREE DAY BAN right before the season ends.

Now I believe that in the past every kind of renaming has been done in game with a game master. Yesterday my friend Soldat vanished during an arena game and I thought the client crashed but found out later that it was his account that got suspended. That's a brilliant timing to close someone's account without even asking the person in game.

Blitzkrieg Platoon was confirmed to be a name that doesn't break any rules. If someone can check logs from about month back it's in there with a game master Soldat spoke with.

Blitzkrieg is in no way a war reference. It's just a name of a tactic that was used in world war two. What's wrong with that?

We were gaining rating and getting close to 2450 rating with 2v2 just to join arena game to lose 19 points.

By the way, this was account closing was done at sunday [b~21:00[/b]. Who the hell works at that time? Serously, this is getting a bit spooky and conspiracy part of my head starts thinking about ideas.

Obviously someone from the top 5 3v3 teams, maybe all of them have reported Soldat as they know that we would steamroll many if not all of their setups.

Can someone's real life friend be working at Blizzard who got paid to do this?

And it was definately just for the name? Don't get it. The name's not offensive and doesn't break copyright at all...

With all due respect, complaining about Blitzkrieg's name is completely ridiculous, and whoever did that must belong to the "nothing related to Germany and WWII must ever be uttered in any case". Actually, the name seems especially fitting for rushdown teams, to be honest, and sounds the part.

It bares no xenophobe / ratial / politically offensive remarks of any kind (which are atrocious, and become even more imbecile in a computer game), so I fail to see how your team might be penalized in any way - don't worry. ;)

The word "Blitzkrieg" - whilst clearly existing before WW2 - was used as a propagandistic term by the nationalsocialist party. Although Hitler had clarified that he´d never used or liked the word, it fulfilled the role of selling the earlier stages of the German war actions to the public as an unstoppable attack with minimum losses. So the word itself is a bit of a "loser" - before the Poland campaign 1939 it was only a general reference to a certain war tactic; from 1939 on, however, it became a synonym for the German way of war.

I would have never reported you for that name, but I see where the complain is coming from. It´s surely a clash - yet whoever says that the term is on one level with "Himmler" or "Vergasen" (to gasify, both names I´ve seen already) should take out that history book and read it up.

It´s not too problematic. It´s not unproblematic. It´s a medium and you got unlucky. :(

Orthodox is right in one way.

Three teams out of four in the top four 3v3 in Misery are Stonemaul.

All of the three teams are Russian, no joking.

I will probably get banned because of this post but oh well.

Why was the team leader given a three day suspension instead of being contacted via GM to just simply change the name?

Our other team member named his 2v2 team "Wehrmacht" and that was dealed with in game GM and no 3 day bans were given.
