Hello, all of you UI freaks! I've been running my blog (http://sijenna.wordpress.com) for a couple of months now. The idea in the beginning was just some kind of small AddOn insider page, and some of my own UI submissions.

Later on, I saw that some people came to my website from searching on "eePanels2 texture". I thought, what the heck, I might as well upload some! And after that I got loads of visits and my blog is mainly just for eePanels2 texture uploads now.

I realized, there isn't really any good resource site for art for eePanels. The example for this is of course when you search for "eePanels2 texture" and my blog is the 1st hit. That's why I was thinking on starting a proper website for this and not just a blog!

What I'm thinking is a webpage that:

1) Allows users to upload, download and rate art
2) Allows users to upload and download their UIs. I might add a forum for better discussion but I'm not sure (after all we have this forum ;-))

So this is NOT going to be some kind of replacement for all the 1000 AddOns websites we already have. I just think they lack art and proper UI compilation contents.

So, does this sound like a good plan? Of course I'll need some staff to make this possible. It's one thing running a blog, but a website like this would need much more work. First off I'd need a PHP programmer. I'll do the design of the webpage myself but I suck at PHP. :P

Secondly, when the website grows bigger(if we'll ever reach that far) I'll of course need some moderators to help me out. But that's a later issue.

Do you need Vanéssa's art file? Many textures in there, I might aswell just find it and zip it then upload it oO

I think i have managed to download three things now from you Vanessá claiming to be the art pack, then actually being something slightly different, like your UI art etc.... and all i can say is.

I'm gonna start working on the website with a friend soon. Then we'll see how it goes.

Oh yeah forgot to say that that is a great idea! I'll upload some art files, when i get time to make some, eventually for you here later.
Also when making the new website, make it wider than the blog, i know it's only a blog(and probably a template size) but just making sure that you do that :D.

Is there any way of salvaging the best of Discord? I think the site is down, haven't checked, but there must be some location for all the files, if not, i could cry it is such a waste :S

Of course it'll be a completely new rewrite. Feels great having some art incoming when the page is up, it is going to need pretty much art in the beginning to get going.

Gets my vote, if its worth anything. Longed for a creative UI site since Discord died, I don't much care for graphics I tend just to use the gradients in eePanels : ) But a site devoted to the creative side of UI design is IMO a definite bonus.

I have some web design skills, and forum modding skills, and stuff like that. I even draw my own pictures ocassionally. : )

This is a diablo UI i made today, will upload for you if you want.... i need to work on it tho as right now it is only 800 wide, the original diablo2 size screen size.
