Today my friend recommended me a program, which compress internet traffic.

Its called TrafficCompressor and can be found here: http://www.tcompressor.ru/download.aspx

You will need to download, register and turn on checkbox WoW in option section for online games.

Program works as following: its server downloads needed traffic, zips it and send to your computer, where TrafficCompressor unzips it and gives to wow client.

I beleave that not compression helped with the issue, but the fact that its servers are not in belarus, so not belorussian IP asks Telia for packets.

Hope this helps you to play for the time Blizz will fix the trouble.

My money looks and smels the same as any one elses so why do I have to suffer from this bullsh*t. I payed Bliz 2 years of my money and all I ask for is some freaking attention from their tech , support. please don't write here about changing programs and use your tech page IT DOESN'T WORK. So get of your a** and do something for dedicated players.

Mate, did you turn on wow checkbox in options? Without turning it on it wont help :)

The tc is nly good for 5mb then you get dced. hen you have to wait for new connect.

Still want to know when tis issue will be fixed.

I haven't read any post yet where bliz is acknowledgin there fault in this whole thing but ut is funny to me how everything went bad after wednesday maintanence.

I played yesterday with latency around 350. Those reconnect where going almost unnoticable.

Compressor "worked" for me - i can now be in game with ping of 1-1.2k - its fun! So its not a solution, but its info that support could use - cos its obvious now the problem is only with some IP groups and temporory solution to this is simple and i think can be easily done by Blizz:

Make some "proxy" or something like that, so all those who has that problem could use it. If only they care about us...

That compressor didn't do much for me. Not sure if it is even working. I registered, went to preferences -> protocols -> checked World of Warcraft. Do I have to do anything else?

Compressor works fo me. It looks like Belorussian IP adresses are baned.

I don't hink yopu are right.

I can play on any other realm except for Shadowmoon.
So how can I be banned and still be able to play on other realms?

Doesn't make sence to me...

Bliz can we get an answer on what is going to happen?
Do I need to find another game to play or this can be fixed?

I can report that I have tried that this program and it indeed does work. My ping is yellow, however, I can connect and play just fine. I believe that the program is a simple proxy server with some hi-tech stuff added to it, but I'm no master at those things.

It seems that the posters above are right: some IP ranges are having problems connecting. Proxies seem to bypass the problem. I hope this helps the tech team a little.
