I have a small problem with my account that I battle.netified in august.

The problem I have is that if I've played on one server for a while and want to play on one of my toons on another server, I have to logg out completely (to the account / password screen) in order to get the realm list to show. When I had a "regular" account, this never happened.
I have one more account and that is still not converted but that account doesn't behave the same way - the realms list pops up just as it's supposed to.

If anybody have an idea how I fix this, I'd be really grateful.

When you're at the character selection screen, just press the "Change Realm" button. This is actually the way it has always been. ;-)

Actually, what I believe he means is that sometimes (actually quite often) you get stuck on "Retrieving Realm List" when trying to change realm after logging in with a Battle.net account. The only way to get the realm list when this happens is to log out of your Battle.net account and back in again.

We have multiple accounts in this household, but this only happens to the Battle.net-associated accounts. And it happens to all of those, not just some.

I'm regularly switching between realms and have had battle.net for some months now, never encountering this error...

Strange thing this. One of my colleagues has the same issue (edit: not all the time, but sometimes), while I have never experienced it with my Battle.net account.

It is being looked into.

This happens to me all the time aswell. You need to log out of the game and back in before you can change realm. Quite annoying having to log in and punch authenticator number everytime you want to change realm.

I actually have the exact same problem. I believe the problem started after I merged it to Battle.net.

To clarify what happens, (or doesn't happen), if I've played on a realm for a while, say a couple of hours (yes I play a lot).
If I then decide to play on another realm, I log out to the character screen, press Change Realm, but the only thing that happens is: It says "Retrieving Realm List". (That is what it says, right? Anyway, I'm pretty sure you understand what I mean.)
To be able to change realm, I have to log out to the login screen, i.e. where you type in your account name and password.

Because I'm not playing a character at that moment, I doubt that it has something to do with an AddOn.

I merged a couple of months ago and have encountered this problem as recent as last night, don't go on the other realm very often, but the majority of times I go to switch realm it gets stuck on changing realm, causing me to have to log in again if I wish to change realm.

Thanks for the information. Sorry for not being crystal clear in my original post, thankfully Chopsuey could decipher my message anyway.

OMG so it took a blue to experience the issue before we got anything other than a facetious response designed to show how stupid the OP is.

Way to go...

I know making a witty remark is sometimes almost impossible to resist, but shouldn't you blue people at least make an effort to act professionally? This is an actual issue, and the OP was crystal clear in describing it, so I fail to see the need for such a reply.

I would have understood a lock and directions to the customer support forum.

I would have understood moving the thread there.

I do not understand a glib attempt at dry wit, not from us players and least of all from you blue.
How many times did it require you to read that message as a witty response?
It must have take a lot of energy convincing your brain it is.. because it just isn't.
