As promised, the announcement of our week long event around the book of Gorefiend!
Please do read the short stories posted above, so you get a good idea of what the events are all about.
To the Horde: Alts are very much accepted to participate in the attacking event! You may even let your level 3 alt be killed, if you choose too!
"An apple a day ..."
Date: From sunday 11/10 untill friday 16/10.
Where: Stormwind City
For who: Everyone that would like to play along!
Extra info: All week long, cultists of the Fel Spectrum shall be selling apples in Stormwind. Those that buy an apple will get a whisper, where they are refered to the plotline, aswell as explained that the apple is corrupted. If you bite off it, you have a big chance of being corrupted too. Read stories to understand!
OOC info:
* To clarify, we force noone to be corrupted if they eat the apple. You may choose to ignore it, but we hope you won't.
* People that did not get the chance to buy an apple in-game, can still decide to be corrupted for the Involuntarily allegiance switching event.
* Please do not meta-game or play the hero! As explained, discovering about the guilt of the apples before Friday shall greatly discomfort us. ;-) Suggestions are made in the post.
* We hope people will play their corruption symptoms well! We have chosen not to guide people too much, so that they can decide themselves what to add to it. Hope to see some creativity there!
Involuntarily Allegiance Switching!
Date: Sunday 18/10, 19:30 server time!
Where: Stormwind City!
For who: * Defenders: The Stormguard, Stormwind City Watch (not confirmed yet!)
* Attackers: Open to everyone!
Extra info:
* Important: Everything is done not to make this one chaotic mess! Attackers shall wear simple robes, given to them by The Fel Spectrum members organising the attacking part. If -alot- of people participate, 2 fronts shall be created, and if we still have too many people, 3 fronts, on diffrent sites over the city!
* Everyone can participate in this event.
* We can be certain of the guard guilds defending, but not that enough people join the attacking side. If they don't, the event fails. Therefor, consider not too lightly which side you'll be on! I hope people still have the spirit for a good old dust-down!
* Fighting goes into whispers mainly!
* No killing, god-modding, ... mortal strikes ... We shall try to overwhelm. The Burning Legion appreciates strong souls for later purposes!
* Try to make it fun for both yourself and the others. We greatly encourage creativity, but not event-changing behaviour! Deciding to attack the cathedral instead of the City Watch cells is not something we'd go along with.
Please, please tell of this event to your friends! I hope some guild leaders are willing to put this in their guild's calendar, it would help so much! It would be so much fun to have this work, whether the final goal of the event works out or not.
The events shall be uploaded to the AA-event page aswell, and questions can be asked 24/7 over the AA! Whisper us about your involvement!
