Indeed. WoW realms are hosted in several different locations in Europe, and network routing to different realms (including realms of the same language) may thus go through different points in the European network.

It started 3-4 hours ago, I was able to log in (slower but still), and then having anywhere from 3 to 12 secs lag, it was virtually unplayable. Then, since one hour or so I cannot log in it all. Everything goes fine, user and password get accepted, you choose a realm/character, and then the game hangs on 100% progress bar and after 1-2 mins it reports "You have been disconnected from the server".
I admit, the CM's statement was really diplomatic ("SOME players"), but that doesn't serve as much of a comfort to those "some players". :-(
To everybody with the same problem -- it is NOT your computer which is your problem.

The EU-english speaking realm Anachronos also seem to be down. Can choose charachter but when trying to connect to server to launch in Dala it disconncect.
Is in Sweden and otherwise my Internet is working fine.
Hope you can solve the problem soon Blizzard.and while I wait I do some reading on WoW stuff

but here we are paying for the gametime "the time online" not graphs items etc etc. so if time is taken away from us it should be refund likea defekt objekt you buy in a store..

no, ofc i dont if its my fault, but this clearly isn´t mine or any other ingame players fault.
blame on blizz and they should refund they wasted day as a good company to keep the service at the top.
I just feel bad for blizzard whne they get the blame for something that's not even their fault.
